Love Is Blind's Alexa Lemieux Fights For Bigger Share in Divorce From Brennon

Reality TV personality Alexa Lemieux, from Love Is Blind, has countered her estranged husband Brennon Lemieux’s divorce petition — seeking a larger share of their shared assets, as Us Weekly has exclusively learned.

Court documents filed by Alexa on December 4 show her refuting all claims made in Brennon’s previous month's divorce filing. While she requested the division of their marital assets, she specifically sought a greater portion for herself.

Alexa justifies her demand for a larger share by citing several factors: “culpability in the marital dissolution,” the necessity for ongoing financial assistance, her spouse’s alleged squandering of shared finances, and the expense of legal representation.

Additionally, she requested that her individual possessions be formally recognized as exclusively hers. An insider informed Us that “Alexa earns a higher income than Brennon and intends to keep her financial gains.”

When contacted, representatives for both Brennon and Alexa declined to provide a statement to Us.

As initially revealed by Us, Brennon initiated divorce proceedings on November 5. He recorded their wedding date as June 30, 2021, and stated that they “stopped cohabiting as a married couple around the time of the divorce filing.” The former couple are parents to a daughter named Vienna, who was born in July 2024.

Brennon asserted in his divorce paperwork that “The marital union has become untenable due to fundamental disagreements or clashes in personalities between [him] and [Alexa], which undermine the core objectives of matrimony and preclude any realistic hope of reconciliation.”

Within his submission, Brennon expressed optimism about reaching an amicable resolution with Alexa concerning parental custody and financial support for their child, but requested court intervention to establish these arrangements should they fail to agree independently.

The estranged pair exchanged vows in June 2021 during the production of Love Is Blind season 3. That particular season was broadcast in 2022.

Alexa announced their separation publicly on Wednesday, December 3. “Following extensive contemplation and numerous profound discussions, we have arrived at the challenging conclusion to dissolve our marriage,” she shared on Instagram. “This determination was not taken casually, and it is accompanied by deep consideration, esteem, and gratitude for the moments we have experienced together.”

Alexa further elaborated, “We embarked on this partnership with affection and hope, and we conclude it with appreciation for the lessons that molded us and the personal development each of us achieved throughout.”

“Although our path as husband and wife concludes, we continue to offer mutual encouragement, dedicate ourselves to our daughter, and pledge to manage this change with empathy,” she stated. “We respectfully request discretion as we proceed, focusing on our personal trajectories while ensuring our cherished daughter remains our primary concern.”

As Us had reported earlier, Alexa had previously discussed her choice to forego a prenuptial agreement prior to their wedding day.

“We never had such an agreement. I also never requested one,” Alexa disclosed in a social media video shared in 2022.

“Brennon was the one who raised the topic and inquired about establishing one to safeguard my interests. It simply wasn't a course of action I wished to pursue,” she clarified. “It is perfectly acceptable for others. It was just not my personal preference.”
