During the awards ceremony itself on January 5, the acclaimed star of Challengers conspicuously kept the piece of jewelry on while posing for photographs — even though she had removed her Bulgari necklace.

The gossip gained further momentum when the Los Angeles Times disclosed that Zendaya “repeatedly displayed her ring, offered an enigmatic smile, and made a mysterious shrug” when questioned about her romantic involvement with Tom Holland. (It should be noted that the actor was not present at the awards event.)

Just twenty-four hours later, an insider source verified to Us Weekly that Holland had indeed proposed to Zendaya, years following their initial encounter on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016.
