Madonna Celebrates Hanukkah with Family and New Partner
Madonna embraced the festive season while observing the seventh night of Hanukkah with her youngest daughters.
On Saturday, December 20, Madonna, 67, posted a picture on Instagram Stories featuring her speculated partner, Akeem Morris, alongside her twin daughters, Stella and Estere, who are 13 years old.
The image showcases a striking silver menorah positioned on a dining table decorated with lit candles, floral arrangements, and various food items, with Morris, 29, seated beside Stella and Estere. Reflective disco balls were also visible hanging overhead.
While she refrained from adding a caption to the photo, Madonna did share another image of herself wearing a beige, lingerie-inspired outfit, her blonde hair worn loose. “Unable to sleep….,” she wrote.

Madonna welcomed her youngest children, originally from Malawi, into her family when they were 5 years old in February 2017. She is also a mother to adopted daughter Mercy, 19, and shares adopted son David Banda, 20, and biological son Rocco, 25, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She also has a daughter, Lourdes, 29, with ex Carlos Leon.
The iconic singer has expressed that her children possess artistic and creative talents, mirroring her own.
“I’ve consistently been fortunate to have children who demonstrate a passion for music, dance, and art. It began with Lola, who excelled in ballet and rhythmic gymnastics, then transitioned to musical theater and contemporary dance. Now, she’s a distinctive singer and songwriter in her own right,” Madonna stated to W Magazine in 2024 during The Celebration Tour, where her children participated by playing instruments and performing on stage.
She continued, “When I embark on a tour, my greatest joy comes from knowing we are all collaborating on the same production, creating magic together. It would be unfulfilling if they were simply traveling between hotels and occasionally attending the show. Naturally, I am also their mother, so disagreements sometimes arise. We are a family of artists, but we are also a family, and that’s what happens.”
Regarding her relationship with Morris, a New York-based soccer player originally from Jamaica, Madonna has celebrated significant occasions with her partner, including his 29th birthday in May and her 67th birthday in August.
“Wishing a happy birthday to my favorite Taurus ♉️ @akkmorris,” Madonna wrote in a tribute to Morris at the time, accompanied by a photo of the couple embracing.

For her birthday, Morris and two of Madonna’s daughters enjoyed an extravagant trip to Siena, Italy.
“For years, I’ve dreamed of witnessing the Palio horse race in Siena that has been held since 1482 on my birthday, Aug. 16!!” she explained on Instagram alongside photos, adding, “Dreams really do come true! Happy Birthday to me!!! ♥️ Hello Italy!”
The pair initially sparked romantic speculation in July 2024 when Morris appeared in an Instagram post shared by Madonna to showcase her 4th of July festivities, according to People. The post, which has since been removed, was followed by a sighting in New York City in September 2024, where they were photographed leaving a New York Fashion Week afterparty together in Soho.
