Maggie Baugh Teases Announcement Amid Keith Urban Separation Rumors

Maggie Baugh is back on Instagram, amidst ongoing speculation regarding her connection to Keith Urban after his separation from Nicole Kidman.

The 25-year-old Baugh posted a solid black picture on the social media site on Monday, October 6, accompanied by the text, “Announcement coming soon…”

Her Instagram update follows the reappearance of a video from a recent concert on Urban’s High and Alive Tour, where he altered a line in his track “The Fighter” — a song originally written for Kidman, 58 — to reference Baugh instead.

Initially, Urban, 57, performs the line, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter.” Nevertheless, he opted to acknowledge the emerging country artist Baugh, who has joined him for duets of the song on multiple occasions.

“When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player,” Urban performed at a concert before his separation from Kidman on Monday, September 29, as captured in video Baugh posted on Instagram.

“Did he just say that,” Baugh wrote alongside her September 27 upload.

Moreover, a re-emerged video from Urban’s April Las Vegas show reveals the Australian-American country artist appearing to gesture towards Baugh across the stage during “The Fighter,” while singing, “I was born to love you.” He subsequently adjusted a line to, “Maggie, I’ll be your fighter.”

Amid theories suggesting Maggie was involved in the dissolution of Urban’s marriage to Kidman, her father, Chuck Baugh, refuted these claims on social media on Wednesday, October 1. Chuck shared a TikTok video on Facebook that asserted his daughter might “allegedly [be] the person responsible for Keith’s divorce from Nicole Kidman.” (Us Weekly verified that Kidman initiated divorce proceedings against Urban on Tuesday, September 30.)

“NO. Just No,” Chuck stated, as reported by TMZ.

Urban played his initial post-separation concert at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, October 2. Maggie was conspicuously missing from the event; Urban’s fellow utility musician, Natalie Stovall, took her place. “The Fighter” was omitted from the performance list that evening.

Us reported on Monday that Kidman and Urban had ended their 19-year marriage. Kidman submitted divorce papers the next day, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the grounds for the breakup. The documentation also featured a marital dissolution agreement, co-signed by both her and Urban, detailing a parenting plan, a child support arrangement, and a “parenting seminar order,” according to court documents acquired by Us. (Kidman and Urban share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith, 14.)

Despite Kidman signing the document on September 6 and Urban on August 29, the Babygirl star indicated their date of separation as September 30.

While the breakup of Kidman and Urban surprised numerous admirers, some had grown wary of marital difficulties after the now-separated couple had not been observed together for several months. Their final public appearance as a pair was in June, at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match in Nashville.

Furthermore, neither had shared posts featuring the other on their social media profiles for a period before the news of their separation. Urban’s last post featuring Kidman was in May, following his Triple Crown Award win at the Academy of Country Music Awards. Conversely, Kidman acknowledged Urban on their anniversary in June.
