Meadow Walker Honors Father Paul Walker Ten Years On
Meadow Walker pays tribute to her father, Paul Walker, over ten years following his passing.
“12 years without you … I love you forever,” the 27-year-old Meadow posted on Instagram on Sunday, November 30, commemorating the sad anniversary of her dad's death.
Additionally, Meadow posted several nostalgic photographs depicting Paul extinguishing candles next to his daughter, who was perched on a kitchen surface.
Paul passed away in November 2013, at the age of 40, following a solo car accident in California. Meadow, his daughter with former girlfriend Rebecca Soteros, was then just 15 years old.
Over the years, Meadow has consistently upheld her father's memory and contributions. She also established the Paul Walker Foundation, which commits to “carrying on the work Paul began,” according to its official site. “Our focus remains on his interests and preserving his legacy. He is ever-present in our thoughts, and we receive daily encouragement to act virtuously and embrace life as Paul did.”
During 2023, Meadow marked what would have been Paul's half-century birthday.
“Happy birthday to my guiding spirit,” Meadow expressed on Instagram then, accompanying it with an old picture of herself and Paul. “I am grateful for your affection, direction, companionship, brightness, and for cultivating my appreciation for all the world's wonders. You are the most benevolent, modest, big-hearted, and compassionate individual I've known. From an early age, you instilled in me the importance of treating everyone with reverence, performing good deeds, and safeguarding our planet. I hold you dear and long for you daily.”
In another Instagram update from that period, Meadow posted an archival photograph of herself and Paul taken during the production of one of the Fast & Furious films.
“This is among my most cherished pictures of my father from Fast,” she penned. “It's both enduring and emblematic.” Meadow further mentioned that this image would be featured on T-shirts, with proceeds going to the Paul Walker Foundation.

Meadow has maintained strong connections with Paul’s fellow actors from the Fast & Furious franchise, such as Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster. Notably, when Meadow married Louis Thornton-Allan in 2021, Diesel escorted her during the ceremony.
“She regards Vin and his children as kin and seeks their counsel when facing difficulties, and she reciprocates their support,” an anonymous source revealed to Us concerning Meadow in 2021. “Meadow holds immense pride in her father and makes a concerted effort to reply to individuals who send correspondence or convey their admiration for him and his contributions. She shares heartfelt remembrances of him on social platforms, stays connected with those who were significant during his lifetime, and largely adheres to the guidance he imparted while he was still living.”
Three years thereafter, Meadow ended her relationship with Thornton-Allan.
“A joint announcement from us: Following three fulfilling years of matrimony, we have reached a mutual understanding to part ways amicably,” the duo declared in a shared Instagram update in 2023. “This resolution is genuinely a collaborative one, and we earnestly request that everyone honors our desire for discretion.”
The former couple mentioned in their communication that they “retain reciprocal affection and esteem for one another,” further stating that they “intend to continue providing each other with encouragement.”
