Meghan Markle Shares Candid NYC Moments with Prince Harry in Sweet Instagram Reel

Meghan Markle has revealed an intimate look into her recent visit to New York City alongside Prince Harry.

The Duchess uploaded personal video clips on Monday, October 13, as an Instagram Reel, accompanied by the cheerful melody of Dinah Shore’s “If I Were a Bell.” Within the footage, she and Harry appear to be enjoying a lighthearted moment before their scheduled address at the World Mental Health Day Festival on Friday, October 10. The video also captures Harry, shoeless and grinning in his casual sweatpants, as his wife records him.

Additional short scenes feature Meghan putting on lipstick before a mirror, Meghan embracing Gloria Steinem inside the renowned activist’s Manhattan residence, Meghan and Harry posing together at the World Mental Health Day Gala, where they were both dressed in black to receive the Humanitarians of the Year award, and the pair sharing a laugh with Ed Sheeran during a visit to Soho House. She further incorporated stylish shots of an apparel rack, a line of footwear, multiple pizza slices, and a cookie shaped like a yellow New York taxi cab.

“Until we meet again, NYC – thank you for the wonderful moments!” Meghan, aged 44, wrote in the Reel's caption. “(You truly possess a captivating allure).”

The Daily Mail stated that Harry felt “hurt and distressed” following allegations that Meghan deliberately traveled through Paris close to the Pont de l’Alma tunnel — the location of Princess Diana’s passing in 1997 — with her feet raised.

“Diana’s demise was leveraged as a tool to criticize his spouse,” an insider revealed to the publication in an article released Monday. “[Meghan] wasn't even near the tunnel. The entire situation is farcical, yet not amusing for Harry.”

The insider mentioned that Harry “felt wounded, but the disheartening aspect is his lack of surprise. He experienced more despair than astonishment.”

Meghan had previously visited the City of Lights for Paris Fashion Week, where she was present at Pierpaolo Piccioli’s inaugural runway presentation as Balenciaga’s creative director.

Beyond her endorsement of prominent luxury fashion houses, the Duchess of Sussex has also been a vocal advocate for independent and emerging brands.

“During occasions where I am aware of intense global scrutiny, and that every aspect of my attire will be meticulously observed, I choose to support designers with whom I maintain strong personal connections,” Meghan shared with The New York Times last year, adding that she believes it's crucial to don labels “that have not yet received the recognition they deserve.”
