Meghan Markle Shares Sweet Video of Prince Harry Making Her Laugh at Gala
Meghan Markle offered a glimpse into a cheerful, personal exchange with her husband, Prince Harry.
On Friday, October 10, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted to her Instagram Stories a candid video showing the couple's interaction backstage at the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala, an event that took place on Thursday in New York City.
“Happy World Mental Health Day… to the man who consistently brings a smile to my face,” Meghan captioned the story.
In the brief, monochrome video, Meghan was seen giggling in response to a jest from Harry, 41. Meghan selected Sylvie Vartan’s “Baby, c’est vous” as the soundtrack for her upload.

Meghan and Harry attended the function together, a notable public appearance, where they received the Humanitarians of the Year Award from the organization.
“Collaborating with families and youth to champion online safety stands as some of the most profound work we have undertaken,” Harry and Meghan stated last month regarding the esteemed recognition. “As parents, their compelling narratives have inspired us to act, and we are privileged to offer our backing.”
They finished by saying, “We are honored to be enduring collaborators with Project Healthy Minds, as we collectively strive to illuminate what continues to be among the most critical challenges of our era.”
The relationship between Meghan and Harry has garnered significant attention ever since they started their romance in 2016, leading to their engagement announcement the subsequent year.
The ex-star of “Suits” initially discussed her connection with Harry during an interview for Vanity Fair in September 2017.
“We are a pair. We are deeply in love,” she effused to the publication then. “I am certain there will come a moment when we must step forward, introduce ourselves, and share our tales, but I trust people will grasp that this period is ours. This is for us. It contributes to its unique charm that it belongs solely to us. Yet, we are content. For me, personally, a wonderful love story is something I truly cherish.”
The pair, whose initial encounter was orchestrated by a mutual acquaintance, participated in their inaugural joint interview in November 2017 with BBC News.
During the conversation, Harry disclosed that he proposed to Meghan at Nottingham Cottage, located within Kensington Palace in London.
Characterizing the occasion as “romantic,” Meghan confessed the proposal took her by surprise.
“It was simply a wonderful surprise. It felt so heartfelt, genuine, and profoundly romantic,” she exclaimed. “He knelt down. In fact, I could hardly permit him to complete his proposal. I found myself asking, ‘May I respond with ‘yes’ already?’”

After their engagement, Harry and Meghan exchanged vows in May 2018 and subsequently became parents to two children.
Their son, Archie, arrived in May 2019 in London.
“We are delighted to declare that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex greeted their inaugural child in the early hours of May 6th, 2019,” the palace conveyed in a communiqué soon after the delivery. “Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz. Both the duchess and the infant are in good health, and the couple extend their gratitude to the public for their collective joy and encouragement during this profoundly meaningful period in their existence.”
Their daughter, Lilibet, on the other hand, was born in June 2021 in Santa Barbara, California.
“On June 4th, we were fortunate to welcome our daughter, Lili,” the couple declared in a statement published on their Archewell website on June 6. “She surpasses anything we could have envisioned, and we continue to be thankful for the affection and well wishes we have received globally. We appreciate your ongoing benevolence and encouragement during this exceptionally significant chapter for our family.”
