Meghan Markle's Communications Director Departs After Brief Stint
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has seen her most recent communications director, Emily Robinson, depart from her role after a brief tenure of mere months.
"Ms. Robinson was responsible for project-specific tasks during an exceptionally successful run of With Love, Meghan and provided supplementary assistance to the production firm," a representative for the 44-year-old Meghan informed Us Weekly in an official statement issued on Friday, October 24. "Her performance was outstanding, and she concluded these endeavors with significant achievement."
Robinson became part of Meghan and her husband Prince Harry's team back in June, having previously managed public relations for Netflix. Both The Times of London and People indicated that Robinson's departure was voluntary.
Prior to this, Meghan had engaged nine other professionals to oversee her communication efforts, with two of these individuals having since advanced to roles within the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's organization that are not focused on publicity.
Staff Departures Continue for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Meghan and Harry, 41, relinquished their responsibilities as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020, subsequently relocating from England to California. Since their move, the couple secured a significant agreement with Netflix to create diverse content, notably the With Love, Meghan docuseries.
"We are pleased to prolong our collaboration with Netflix and broaden our joint ventures to encompass the As Ever brand," Meghan stated in an announcement provided to Us in August, referencing her lifestyle merchandise collection. "My husband and I draw inspiration from our partners who collaborate intimately with us and our Archewell Productions team to develop meaningful content spanning various genres that connect with audiences worldwide and uphold our collective vision."
Meghan has completed production on two seasons of With Love, where she showcases her enthusiasm for culinary arts, horticulture, and various DIY projects alongside a selection of her renowned acquaintances.
"Reflecting on that particular format — after a year of [gaining experience] — we can confirm that eight episodes across two seasons represents a considerable undertaking," Meghan hinted regarding the possibility of a third season during a Forbes discussion panel held earlier this month. "Having acted on Suits for seven years, I am well aware of the intricacies involved in a production. I also acknowledge the diverse preferences people have for content length."

She added, "While it's wonderful to be able to enjoy a program for 30 minutes, I'm also considering how I can present a recipe in just two minutes, where I can disseminate that, and how it contributes to the ongoing development of As Ever. Therefore, [we are] investigating all potential formats."
Although Meghan remained elusive about the prospect of a third season for With Love, she is slated to reappear for an "exceptionally engaging" holiday special.
"I demonstrate numerous gift wrapping methods. As you might recall, I once instructed an advanced gift wrapping [course] at Paper Source," Meghan hinted concerning the forthcoming special. "While these skills acquired as an aspiring actress were not precisely the full circle moment I anticipated, it's where I find myself now."
Archewell Productions, led by Meghan and Harry, has also brought forth documentary series focusing on their personal journey, the equestrian sport of polo, and Harry’s Invictus Games. Furthermore, the couple's production company is currently working on an adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel, Meet Me at the Lake.
Concurrently, Meghan’s As Ever brand is preparing for an impending new product release.
"Save the Date," Meghan posted on Instagram on Thursday, October 23, subtly indicating a forthcoming announcement scheduled for October 28.
