Meghan Markle's Suits Days Before Duchess: A Deep Dive

Prior to becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle gained recognition for her portrayal of Rachel Zane in the series Suits.

This USA Network production, airing over nine seasons from 2011 through 2020, depicted events within a fictional New York City legal practice and chronicled Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) securing a position with lawyer Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) by leveraging his exceptional memory, even though he lacked a college degree.

Markle took on the character of a driven paralegal, who was also the offspring of a top-tier attorney in the metropolis (portrayed by Wendell Pierce). Her character ultimately developed a romantic relationship with Adams’s character, culminating in Rachel and Mike's marriage prior to their departure from the show at the conclusion of season 7 in 2018.
