Mia Thornton's Post-RHOP Life: From Felony Charges to Atlanta Penthouse Living

Mia Thornton remains in the news spotlight following her departure from The Real Housewives of Potomac.

The ex-Bravo personality faced arrest in Atlanta for a felony theft charge in November 2025.

A police report, obtained by Us Weekly, states that Thornton is accused of taking over $11,000 worth of furniture from an Atlanta condo she was leasing, comprising items like radios, televisions, DVD players, and other possessions.

Footage from a body camera subsequently depicted Thornton crying as she admitted to knowing about an active arrest warrant.

The Reason Behind Mia Thornton’s Exit From ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’?

Thornton disclosed in April 2025 that she was departing the Bravo reality series because her family chose to move to Atlanta.

“My four seasons have been an extraordinary experience, marked by personal development, learning, and numerous cherished moments,” she posted on Instagram then. “This upcoming phase is already brimming with promising prospects, and I am eager to share the journey with all of you. Significant developments are on the horizon…”

Bravo executive Andy Cohen subsequently remarked, “Bravo to YOU.”

What is Mia Thornton’s Current Relationship With Her Ex-Husband Gordon Thornton?

It was reported in September 2023 that Mia and Gordon were divorcing following 11 years of matrimony. The couple had two children together and pledged to maintain effective coparenting post-separation. (Mia also has a child from an earlier relationship.)

Nearly two years after their separation, Mia posted a message of gratitude for her former spouse.

“The last few weeks have been challenging,” she shared on Instagram in July 2025. “Life happens, and that’s how it goes. But to have someone step up and offer support throughout it all…is worthy of PRAISE. Genuinely Thankful #bestexhusbandever #coparenting #thorntons #atlantadream.”

The Status of Mia Thornton’s Relationship With Incognito?

In season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Mia openly shared her affection for Atlanta radio personality Incognito — often called Inc.

However, on a January 2025 installment of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Mia verified that their romantic involvement had ended.

“He remains my closest friend, and that will never change,” she stated. “Are we an exclusive couple or dating? No. This situation has created some distance between us, which is acceptable.”

Mia Thornton’s Professional Occupations?

Per Mia’s Instagram bio, the reality personality identifies as a “mogul, investor, and CEO.” She also established The House of Miramor, an enterprise aimed at assisting women in developing businesses and “owning, rather than merely managing.”

Additionally, she seems to be a franchise collaborator for several ventures, such as The Joint Chiropractic and Massage Envy.

As stated by Bravo, Mia earned a certification in neuromuscular massage therapy from Southeastern Institute.

Mia Thornton’s Current Residence?

Mia offered a peek at her new residential arrangements on social media in April 2025.

“…and she cultivated her P E A C E. We find it wonderful here,” she posted on Instagram then. “#penthouseliving #atl #mamabear.”

This post followed by two months the accusation from The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant that her castmate did not reside in Potomac.

“Inc resides in Atlanta … Mia resides in Atlanta,” Bryant asserted. “She is not a resident of D.C., Maryland, or Virginia.”

Thornton responded, “Why would you suggest that? I haven’t relocated … I own a condominium here.”
