Milana Vayntrub leverages suggestive photos to raise over $500,000 for charity with Only Philanthropy.

Milana Vayntrub, previously known as a model and spokesperson for AT&T, has successfully generated more than $500,000 for charitable causes by posting suggestive photographs.

Vayntrub, who is 38 years old, described a "crazy idea for an experiment" on Monday, December 8, stemming from the Los Angeles fires earlier in January.

The actress, known for her role in This Is Us, posted on Instagram that she recognized "what people really needed was some cash." She then proposed: "So I wondered if you and me could try something ridiculous & team up to help the people affected."

She then offered: "I offered exclusive pics in exchange for donations to a single mom’s GoFundMe. You showed up. We raised $170,000. $170K in 4 days."

Vayntrub explained that the funds enabled the single mother, identified as Bridget, to purchase replacement "medical equipment, clothing, her car," and ensured "a full year of housing which allowed for her disabled son to resume in-home medical care."

On Monday, Vayntrub stated that the assistance provided "allowed her and her kids to regain stability and dignity during a time of crisis." She then cited Bridget's reaction: "'It wasn’t just about the money,' Bridget mentioned. 'It was the first time in a long time I felt seen. Like someone actually cared that we were still here, still fighting.'"

Following the initial success with Bridget's campaign, Vayntrub utilized Only Philanthropy — a platform she established, styled similarly to OnlyFans but dedicated to fundraising for various causes — to secure an additional $350,000 within a week to benefit more victims of the L.A. fires.

Vayntrub informed her followers that after "months of searching for the right partner," they located MY TRIBE RISE, "a small but mighty Altadena org helping elderly, disabled, and under-insured survivors rebuild their lives."

She added that the organization "took your generosity and turned it into direct grants for fire survivors. Real money. Real impact. Right where it makes the biggest difference."

Vayntrub stated that Only Philanthropy represents the "best thing" she has "ever been part of."

The comedian expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you. Truly." She then posed a question to her audience: "Now my question is: Who else would you like to see do an Only Philanthropy campaign & for what cause? Tag them. Let me know in the comments."

Jason Momoa and More Celebrity Activists

The comment section was filled with users commending Vayntrub's efforts and proposing other celebrities for similar campaigns, including Kat Dennings, Jeff Goldblum, Alyssa Milano, Danielle Fishel, and Alexandra Daddario.

The Only Philanthropy website asserts that the organization operates on the principle that "giving should feel good and fundraising could be fun."

The website further explains: "You give and you get, you know? Only Philanthropy trades exclusive content for real-world impact."

It continues: "We raise money for urgent causes quickly, by offering our generous supporters something a little flirty, a little silly, and with a whole lot of heart. Whether it’s helping families after a disaster, supporting women’s shelters, or funding grassroots aid projects, fundraising can be less serious and more joyful, while quickly making massive impact."

Vayntrub began her role as the saleswoman Lily Adams in AT&T's advertisements in 2013, continuing in the part for four years.

Following a hiatus, Vayntrub returned to the role in 2020; however, she expressed dismay upon encountering numerous comments about her physical appearance.

During an Instagram Live session at that time, she commented, saying: “Maybe it just has to do with being a person on the internet, or maybe it’s specific to being a woman on the internet. But all of these comments … it hurts my feelings."

She elaborated: “Let me tell you, I am not consenting to any of this. I do not want any of this. … I’m hurting and it’s bringing up, like, a lot of feelings of sexual assault. I am just walking my dog and getting messages from people who have distorted my pictures to get likes on their accounts.”

While Vayntrub is finished with the AT&T commercials, she has continued to take roles in other projects, including 2024's Monster and 2025's Going Dutch.
