Newlyweds Kristin and Noah Schnacky Spend First Thanksgiving Apart Sparking Online Debate
A mere quarter of a year following their marriage, social media personalities Kristin and Noah Schnacky opted not to celebrate Thanksgiving together.
“We're parting ways for our inaugural Thanksgiving as a married couple, as both of us wish to cherish time with our respective families,” the 28-year-old Kristin posted on TikTok on Tuesday, November 25, accompanying a clip of them embracing in a park. “This felt like the most suitable decision for us.”

“This might be an uncommon viewpoint, but I'm incredibly pleased to be back with my entire family,” she wrote alongside a TikTok video on Wednesday, November 16, in which she feigned a frown while listening to Elvis Presley's “Blue Christmas.”
The online influencer stated that the melody served as her “anthem” because she was observing Thanksgiving in New York, whereas Noah, also 28, had traveled to Florida.
Kristin subsequently disclosed through her Instagram Stories that this marked the initial separation for her and Noah since their August wedding. Kristin and Noah, whose engagement took place in February, exchanged vows in a picturesque New York City ceremony on August 27.
“The next segment of our romantic story commences, presenting Mr. and Mrs. Schnacky,” the delighted groom announced on Instagram several days afterward.
The couple's wedding ceremony later gained widespread attention online when firefighters from the New York Fire Department made an appearance, honoring Kristin's deceased father who perished while on duty during the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
“On that day, I genuinely grasped the meaning behind firefighters referring to their bond as a ‘brotherhood,’” Kristin posted on Instagram. “Both current and former firefighters from my father’s station, Rescue One, arrived at my hotel and accompanied me directly to our ceremony location where Noah awaited at the altar.”
She proceeded, “They paused their routines to share in my significant occasion, paying homage to my father. Exiting the hotel to witness all the firefighters with their two vehicles immediately brought me to tears; it truly represented my father escorting me down the aisle, and I am certain this is precisely what he would have wished for. This is for you, dad.”
Noah, reciprocally, expressed in the comments that he felt privileged the FDNY team attended to endorse their nuptials.

“The affection shown by the FDNY truly astounds me,” Noah remarked. “It was a profound privilege to have them share in our memorable day.”
Kristin, merely 3 years old at the time of her father's passing, has consistently spoken about upholding his memory throughout her upbringing.
“It's difficult to ascertain whether my recollections of him stem from narratives or genuine personal memory. I was deeply devoted to my father, and my mother consistently described me as his greatest treasure,” she recounted to CBS News then. “His love for me was immense.”
