Nicholas Braun Pleads Not Guilty to DUI Charge After Labor Day Arrest
Nicholas Braun has reportedly entered a not guilty plea after he was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge.
In documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, September 15, Braun, 37, authorized his attorney to enter his plea. A judge is now reportedly ordering the actor to avoid alcohol, narcotics and controlled substances as the case progresses.
The Carroll County, New Hampshire, jail confirmed to Us Weekly on September 2 that Braun had been arrested for a DUI and was released on August 30.
TMZ reported at the time that Braun was held for about an hour before he walked out of the jail on his own recognizance. Us reached out to Braun’s team for comment at the time.

Braun’s apprehension took place two years following the conclusion of his work on Succession, the series in which he portrayed the character Cousin Greg and received three Emmy nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Subsequent to the series finale of the acclaimed program, Braun has taken on a diverse range of endeavors, such as Splitsville and Saturday Night, and is also slated for 2026’s Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie — a suspense film where he is anticipated to costar with Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Braun has offered admirers a peek into his private life alongside his girlfriend, Hyunji Ward. The couple initially ignited speculation about their romance after being seen together at HBO and Max’s 2024 post-Emmys celebration. Braun and Ward seemingly validated their relationship when he shared a kiss with her subsequent to Succession's win for Best Drama Series at the Critics Choice Awards.
He later made their coupling Instagram official in April, posting a collection of images showcasing the pair during her birthday festivities.

“Happy Birthday to my wonderfully sweet and beloved girlfriend!!!” Braun penned then. “You bring immense happiness to my life. You inspire me to be my finest self!! Such as when you affirmed I could successfully wear this shirt adorned with forks. You were correct. I love you very much .”
Sarah Snook, Braun’s fellow cast member from Succession, commented, “Happy happy birthday @_bunji!! Hope to catch up in NYC shortly! Xx.”
Prior to this relationship, Braun had revealed that he had “never experienced a long-term partnership.”
“I genuinely desire it, yet I find myself unable to sustain one,” he confessed to The New York Times in 2021. “I move towards it, and then I encounter a barrier where I feel, ‘I cannot delve deeper into this. I must withdraw.’ I am confident it will materialize at the opportune moment with the appropriate individual.”
