Nicholas Braun’s DUI Arrest Has Been Cleared
UPDATE 1/8/25 at 2:45 p.m. ET — Nicholas Braun’s driving under the influence arrest has been cleared.
A spokesperson for the New Hampshire court system confirmed to TMZ on Thursday, January 8, that the actor received a certificate of dismissal late last month.

Succession actor Nicholas Braun is facing a legal challenge.
The Carroll County correctional facility in New Hampshire informed Us Weekly on Tuesday, September 2, that the performer was apprehended for driving under the influence and released on Saturday, August 30.
According to TMZ, who initially reported the news, Braun, 37, was detained for approximately an hour before being freed on his own promise to appear in court.
The outlet reported that a photograph of the actor is unlikely to be shared because the police camera was not functioning.

Braun is primarily recognized for his portrayal of Cousin Greg in HBO Max’s acclaimed series Succession.
His performance resulted in three Emmy nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category. The program concluded in May 2023 after four seasons.
Following the conclusion of Succession, Braun has continued to secure roles in projects such as Splitsville and Saturday Night. He is also slated to appear alongside Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson in the 2026 thriller Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie.
Because Braun maintains a degree of privacy regarding his personal life, the reason for his presence in New Hampshire over Labor Day weekend remains unclear.
In March, however, the actor provided fans with a rare look into his relationship with girlfriend Hyunji Ward.
“HBD to my sweet sweet DARLING of a girlfriend!!!” he wrote via Instagram on March 26. “You are the absolute delight of my life. You help me become the best version of myself!! Like when you said that I could wear this shirt covered in forks. You were right. Love you dearly ❤️.”
The couple first generated speculation about their romance when they were seen at HBO and Max’s celebration following the Emmys in January 2024. That same month, the pair appeared to confirm their relationship when Braun kissed Ward after Succession secured the award for Best Drama Series at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Prior to meeting Ward, Braun offered insight into his romantic experiences in a candid conversation with The New York Times.
In October 2021, the Emmy nominee stated that he had never “experienced a long-term romantic connection.”
“I do desire it and yet I am unable to sustain it,” he told the publication. “I move toward it and then I encounter a barrier where I feel compelled to retreat. I do believe it will occur at the appropriate time with the right individual.”
