Nick Viall Fuels Bachelor in Paradise Drama by Revealing Shocking Accusations Against Kat Izzo
The unfolding drama from Bachelor in Paradise season 10 isn't confined to the screen, with former contestant Nick Viall actively fueling the discussions.
“I'd like to share a direct message I received from one of your fellow cast members,” the 44-year-old Nick informed Kat Izzo during the September 3, Wednesday, broadcast of his “Viall Files” podcast.
The 29-year-old Kat expressed being “terrified” of the impending revelation, prompting Nick to concede that the communication was “severe” and would “likely” cause her distress. Nick explained his intention was to provide a “warning” given the upcoming taping of the season 10 reunion show.
Nick disclosed that he had gotten a message from Parisa Shifteh several weeks prior, stating, “Throughout her time in Paradise, Kat acted as a bully. Fear prevented anyone from confronting her or speaking out.”

After Nick lowered his device, Kat urged him to complete the direct message — however, Nick’s co-host and spouse, Natalie Joy, claimed that the 30-year-old Parisa was actively “seeking” an appearance on the podcast. Nick mentioned that Parisa furthermore wished to “clarify” aspects of her relationship with Brian Autz, asserting that “numerous elements” from their time on Bachelor in Paradise were omitted from broadcast.
Kat seemed taken aback by Parisa’s accusation, prompting her to consult her boyfriend and fellow season 10 participant, Dale Moss, on whether he viewed her as a bully. “No, I don't see you as a bully. But it’s not something to overthink,” the 36-year-old Dale responded with a grin. “Ultimately, everyone is entitled to their own perspectives.”
Struggling to suppress her emotions, Kat asserted that Parisa had previously sought her counsel regarding Brian and expressed being “perplexed” by the direct message. As she dabbed her eyes, Kat remarked, “I’m just unsure what to believe anymore.”
“I recognized much of myself in her, and I believe she exhibited some anxious tendencies… I could perhaps grasp [Brian’s] perspective,” Kat explained. “We also prepared for rose ceremonies together. We were even in the same room as Allyshia [Gupta].”

Kat stated that her “goal is always to assist others,” clarifying that her Italian heritage means she possesses a “profound level” of care — a trait that occasionally leads to her being “interpreted” in a specific manner. “No one communicates their emotions to me. If I’m causing you to feel this way, I would appreciate it if you’d say, ‘Hey, you made me feel this way. Let’s discuss it.’ Rather than labeling me or making such strong, public accusations,” she expressed, as Dale interjected, “But then they wouldn't get the publicity.”
Nick remarked that after reading the direct message, he questioned why Kat's supposed "bullying" behavior wasn't depicted during the season. He speculated, “I’ve observed individuals portrayed as antagonists for trivial reasons, so if you truly were a bully, I found it unexpected that it wasn't shown.”
Kat, Dale, Parisa, Brian, and Allyshia, alongside their fellow cast members, are scheduled to reconvene for the Bachelor in Paradise season 10 reunion. This event will be broadcast exclusively on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, with parts airing on Thursday, September 4, at 2 a.m. ET and Friday, September 5.
