Nicki Minaj Faces Foreclosure on Mansion Amid Half-Million Dollar Lawsuit

Speaking to Us on Wednesday, October 15, Paul Saso, counsel for Thomas Weidenmuller, stated, “Court rulings are not discretionary. Mr. Weidenmuller secured a legitimate judgment, and as any party holding such a judgment, he has the right to receive payment.”
“He has exercised sufficient patience, and we intend to pursue every legal avenue to ensure this outcome,” Saso added. “Nevertheless, we would encourage [Minaj] to willingly settle the judgment, including all subsequent interest and collection expenses — which would eliminate the necessity of any asset sale and promptly conclude this affair.”
As Us initially disclosed, Weidenmuller submitted legal paperwork on October 6 pertaining to his legal action against Minaj, 42, and Petty, 47, concerning a claimed altercation.
Weidenmuller petitioned the court to approve the liquidation of Minaj’s $20 million residence located in Hidden Hills. He asserted that the funds generated would serve to clear the mortgage and resolve the financial obligation she holds towards him.
On Wednesday, Minaj publicly addressed the legal dispute on X. She claimed that a past business manager neglected to inform her of Weidenmuller’s litigation.
Minaj stated, “I possess proof that this information was provided to a business [manager] who never informed me. My legal counsel AND business [managers] (both former & current) are CONSCIOUS of this. We will see if they choose to speak out, or if I will need to identify them by name. That identical business [manager] DEFRAUDED me on numerous occasions.”
As Us earlier conveyed, in his complaint, lodged in 2022, Weidenmuller asserted he was employed as a security personnel during one of Minaj’s performances in Germany in 2019. He alleged that an admirer breached the security fence and accessed the stage.

“The attendee of the concert was detained by Minaj’s private security contingent in less than ten seconds after gaining entry to the stage and was led off the stage moments thereafter. He remained on stage for roughly fifteen seconds overall,” the legal filing clarified. The security officer asserted that the occurrence disturbed the performer.

Within legal documents, Weidenmuller recounted attempting to intervene upon witnessing Minaj reprimanding a female security staff member about the event. The security officer stated he was subsequently called to the rapper’s private changing area.
The complaint stated, “Weidenmuller proceeded to the corridor adjacent to Minaj’s dressing room, where he came across Minaj, Petty, and two of Minaj’s personal protective detail.”
He described Minaj persisting in shouting at him regarding the occurrence. “As Minaj maintained her vociferous outburst towards Weidenmuller, Petty moved to a position behind [Weidenmuller] and beyond his line of sight,” Weidenmuller’s attorney penned. Weidenmuller asserted that Petty then, “without any prior indication,” delivered a punch from the side, striking him on the right portion of his face.
“Minaj incited Petty,” the legal filing contended.
The security officer stated he experienced “immediate intense agony,” and was transported to a medical facility for care. He reported sustaining a fractured jaw due to Petty’s purported assault. He asserted that his initial operation took place two days following his hospital admission. He claimed he was incapable of consuming solid nourishment “for a period” and was compelled to rest in an upright position, as lying down horizontally would cause the concussion he endured to trigger severe headaches.

In a legal submission from February 2024, the counsel for the supposed victim noted, “Weidenmuller has undergone roughly seven further surgical procedures, and is anticipated to require several more.” The attorney indicated that Weidenmuller “presently has five plates in his jaw, and his jaw fundamentally requires complete rebuilding.”
In a sworn statement submitted to the court, Weidenmuller penned, “The agony I felt at that instant surpassed any discomfort I had ever encountered in my lifetime or have perceived since that particular day.”
Weidenmuller sought unquantified compensation for the claimed assault and deliberate causing of emotional suffering. The court granted Weidenmuller a judgment by default in March 2024 subsequent to Minaj and Petty’s failure to reply to the legal proceedings.
