“Indeed, Keith has called Nashville home for three decades, and I have resided there for 12 years now, making us very much ingrained in the fabric of the place,” the star of Babygirl revealed to MiNFDOOD in September 2019.
Kidman further stated, “In reality, Keith and I lead a remarkably ordinary life. We repeatedly affirm this, and individuals often respond with, ‘Of course.’ Yet, it is genuinely true. We diligently strive to maintain it and safeguard it.”
She also mentioned her appreciation for “the tranquility” and “seclusion” that Nashville offered.
“Our life there is quite unpretentious, which likely explains why I don’t perceive myself as living a lavish celebrity existence,” Kidman pondered about her shared life with Urban and their daughters back then. “I engage with that world briefly, then withdraw — returning to the authentic everyday realities.”
Kidman and Urban exchanged vows in 2006, having first encountered each other the previous year at the G’Day USA gala held in Los Angeles.
“I can truthfully tell you, she moved across the space with an ethereal grace, as if floating. I cannot explain how she accomplished it,” the singer-songwriter reminisced in a November 2010 interview about his first meeting with Kidman. “It was otherworldly, and there was a fleeting instant when she was unaccompanied, with no one nearby, and I decided, ‘I’ll simply approach and greet her.’”
