OnlyFans Star Lily Phillips Reaffirms Faith with Second Baptism

OnlyFans personality Lily Phillips is reconnecting with her faith after deciding to undergo a second baptism.

“I believe for a while I had drifted away from religion, and I think I was somewhat in denial about it for much of that time,” Phillips, 24, shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 30, just two days after the ceremony. “A significant event occurred recently in my personal life, where I felt a need to begin communicating with God again. I hadn’t actively practiced my faith for a while. I simply wanted to be rebaptized to reaffirm my connection with God.”

Phillips — who is known for previously claiming to have slept with 1,113 men in 12 hours — explained that she experienced “a degree of difficulty” in her personal life, which led her to “seek God’s assistance with that” and “gain more strength in that situation.”

Her choice to be rebaptized was met with approval by her friends and family. “They were very supportive. Naturally, my family has always been religious. They don’t necessarily practice it regularly, but they were certainly happy for me to do it,” she explained, noting that she has a “near relative” who serves as a vicar. “We were always quite close to God while growing up. They were delighted.”

Within the industry, Phillips hasn’t yet encountered other creators who have shared a similar experience with their Christianity — but she hopes to connect with them in the future.

“I definitely need to do that because I think there are many Christian women who are in this profession,” she said, “but people may not be aware of it and they may not feel comfortable discussing it due to potential judgment.”

Phillips, meanwhile, “can understand why people might not think” that she’s a “devout Christian.”

“That’s perfectly acceptable,” Phillips said. “That’s their perspective. I’m certainly not presenting myself as a conventional Christian at all. Of course, I don’t object to same-sex marriage. I also support reproductive choice. So I don’t necessarily hold traditional values. But that doesn’t mean I can’t be Christian. I would simply hope that the Christian community welcomes me, because I believe everyone’s relationship with God is unique to them.”

As she looks forward to the New Year, Phillips expressed a desire to make her religion “a greater priority” in her life.

“I have often neglected it,” she admitted. “I also believe I’m going to reduce my involvement in work and other commitments to truly focus on this. Even though I travel extensively — and that’s my challenge — I don’t always attend church because of my travel schedule. But that doesn’t mean I can’t pray and practice my faith outside of church, so I will definitely be doing that and moving forward with it.”

While Phillips has “never felt ashamed” of her profession, she envisions a year where she expands her career into other areas.

“I definitely want to diversify what I do. I would love to pursue some television opportunities,” she said. “I would love to do some presenting, which would be so enjoyable. I would love to do more YouTube perhaps, to showcase more of my personality.”

Throughout everything, Phillips wants to be mindful of her “overall well-being” and ensure that she’s “content” — while also being present with her loved ones.

“[I want to make] sure to, kind of, nurture my family relationships,” she said. “I didn’t really spend much time with them last year, mainly because of all the traveling. I want to prioritize them and, like, my friends and stuff like that.”
