OnlyFans Stars Clash Over Morals and Millions
UPDATE 9/04/25 at 11:26 a.m. ET — Sophie Rain issued a counter-statement regarding Knight's remarks, declaring, “Annie Knight is irrelevant, delusional and projecting.”
The statement continued, “She turned her own disgrace into a means of gaining notoriety and now seeks to impose new rules on everyone else. I have never been dishonest about my content or my financial figures. This information is publicly available, and my earnings clearly demonstrate my success. While she might take pride in engaging with 583 men in a single day, I choose to build lasting wealth without ever removing my clothing.”
Rain concluded by suggesting that Knight “can remain angry,” further stating, “Integrity is not something that can be digitally altered.”

Digital content creators Annie Knight and Sophie Rain are embroiled in a new disagreement concerning OnlyFans — specifically, whether or not they possess “morals.”
The dispute originated when Rain, 20, appeared on the “Bangin Out” podcast in August, where she differentiated between the content she and the Bop House produce versus that created by individuals in the “competitive sex” sector. (Us Weekly exclusively reported in July that Rain was departing the Bop House.)
“Everyone immediately assumes we produce adult films. I believe the most revealing item any of us has displayed is a very revealing bikini top. We don’t show much, and that’s partly why the term ‘bop’ emerged, because we aren’t the typical adult film stars everyone imagines. We’re not doing what Bonnie Blue does; we’re pursuing something different,” Rain explained at the time. “You can achieve success without crossing that boundary, maintaining your principles and all.”
Rain, who previously disclosed earnings of $82 million, mentioned that she is a virgin. She added, “I don’t feature anything extreme on my platform.”

Knight, for her part, asserted that Rain is “constructing an entirely false narrative which is misleading young women into believing that by joining OnlyFans and posting bikini photos, without any explicit material, they will accumulate $80 million.”
“She is outright fabricating claims about the type of content she creates, stating she has only ever uploaded bikini pictures, despite her page featuring stripteases and full nudes,” Knight alleged in a statement to Us. “She is also misrepresenting her income, using fabricated screenshots to claim she earned $80 million in 18 months, purely from selling bikini photos."
Knight, who gained widespread attention for having sexual encounters with 583 men in six hours, pointed out that being an OnlyFans creator is “challenging.” (Knight was hospitalized following her event but has since confirmed to Us that she is recovering.)
“We face criticism daily; it impacts our families and friends; your life suddenly becomes exposed to examination and judgment from strangers, and you must exert effort continually,” she stated. “It is also a continuous job, requiring you to post on every social media platform multiple times a day, which means generating hundreds of distinct content pieces weekly."
What Is OnlyFans? Answering Burning Questions
Knight expressed that she was “quite upset” that Rain was implying “anyone involved in sex work lacks morals.”
“She discussed the negative perception surrounding OnlyFans, which I found rather ironic, as she is further perpetuating this stigma for individuals in the sex work industry by claiming they lack morals and attempting to create a division between OnlyFans and sex work,” Knight remarked.
Knight continued, "To be completely candid, I believe it’s utter nonsense. Very few individuals worldwide have achieved success on OnlyFans without posting explicit content. Sophie is not among this group of people, as she does produce explicit content.”
Knight suggested that Rain “needs to reflect on herself” because “she is essentially implying that she lacks morals.”

“I upload explicit content, and I possess morals; I believe in discerning right from wrong, I believe in individuality and sexuality, and everyone’s right to express themselves,” Knight concluded. “I believe in being kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and non-judgmental. These are strong moral principles. Therefore, I consider her statement to be false in every aspect.”
Knight is not the only individual to question Rain’s reported earnings.
“In my opinion, it’s somewhat peculiar that men are giving her $50 million, bro… they’re being strange in their little rooms,” Michael Porter Jr. commented on Friday, August 29, during a Twitch livestream.
The Brooklyn Nets forward clarified that he was not judging Rain, before raising doubts about the authenticity of her account. “They’re probably communicating with some man in the Philippines who is managing her account,” he speculated, noting that he had never personally used OnlyFans.
Rain proceeded to defend her account and income. “They enjoy acting as if it’s all trickery, but no one offered me a contract, a trainer, or a brand deal at 19,” she said, according to Complex. “I worked 14-hour days, responded to every direct message, and edited every post. No one fabricated that effort.”
