Osbourne Family Celebrates First Christmas Without Ozzy, Sharing Heartfelt Moments
Kelly Osbourne is offering a glimpse into her family’s initial Christmas celebration following the passing of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.Kelly, 41, shared photos on Instagram on Thursday, December 25, depicting her family members dressed in coordinating blue and red plaid pajamas. The large group included her mother, Sharon Osbourne, as well as Kelly’s fiancé, Sid Wilson, and their 3-year-old son, Sidney. Kelly’s brother, Louis Osbourne, was also present at the gathering with his wife, Louise, and their children, Elijah and Maia.
“Wishing you a Merry Christmas from The Osbourne family!!!” Kelly captioned the post.In addition to the family photographs, Kelly reposted a video through her Instagram Stories from Wilson, 48, which showcased their son experimenting with a new microphone toy. We kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy during this difficult time.”Weeks later, it was revealed that the Black Sabbath icon had succumbed to cardiac arrest, an acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease. I just kept walking and walking, and I was seeing all these different people every night, and I would return and I’d be looking at these people, and they were looking at me, and nobody was speaking.’ And he knew. He was prepared.”Sharon also mentioned that “the night before” Ozzy’s death, he asked her to kiss him and embrace him tightly. She discovered the following morning that he had passed away.“[I heard] shouting in the house, and I rushed downstairs, and there he was, and they were attempting to resuscitate him, and I said, ‘Don’t, let him go. He’s gone,’" she explained. “I knew instantly he was gone. And they tried and tried, and then they transported him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it’s, ‘He’s gone. Just let him go.’”
