Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion prove long-distance love works

Patrick Schwarzenegger and his spouse, Abby Champion, have enjoyed a robust relationship since 2016.

After a brief, five-month romance with Miley Cyrus in 2015, Schwarzenegger was seen affectionately with the model at the popular West Hollywood venue, Nice Guy. Champion later joined the actor at a birthday celebration for his mother, Maria Shriver, prior to Us Weekly verifying their romantic involvement in March 2016.

An anonymous source informed Us at that juncture that the pair had been a couple for "some time." Their relationship was publicly announced shortly thereafter.

Even with their demanding professional commitments, Schwarzenegger and Champion prioritize regular date nights whenever circumstances allow.

"We clearly maintain communication via FaceTime and phone calls … yet it's genuinely not difficult," Schwarzenegger shared with E! News in September 2019. "Our frequent periods of separation enable us to truly value and savor the moments we spend together. Typically, my weekdays are packed with work, and she is often traveling, which sets us up for exceptionally enjoyable weekends."
