Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke's Beautiful Journey to Everlasting Love
Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke have discovered their enduring love story, sealing their commitment with not one, but two marriage celebrations.
Whispers of a blossoming relationship between Badgley and Kirke first emerged in 2014. However, four years subsequent, Kirke, a professional doula, confessed that their initial connection lacked significant gravity.
“I was quite accustomed to life as a single mother, perhaps overly so. My son and I had a wonderful dynamic, operating as a small, unified unit. While Penn and I were seeing each other, it certainly wasn’t as profound as our bond is today,” Kirke, who co-parents son Cassius with former partner Morgan O’Kane, revealed to Hey Mama in 2018. She continued, "I hadn't envisioned matrimony for us. Consequently, I was simply progressing, managing and navigating each day, and I believe the distinction now is that I am truly experiencing life.”
The pair, having exchanged vows twice in 2017, disclosed the impending arrival of their first child together three years subsequently.
“Embarking on this journey once more,” the musical artist wrote alongside a detailed image of her burgeoning stomach on Instagram in February 2020. She elaborated, “Navigating pregnancy following previous losses presents a unique challenge. After enduring two consecutive miscarriages, we had almost given up hope. My faith in my body dwindled, and I began to resign myself to the idea that our family was complete. In my profession as a birth doula, I have witnessed and absorbed countless stories. It demands all my strength to compassionately disengage from the tragedies I’ve observed and to fully immerse myself in my personal journey.”
