Once their flight touched down, Hewitt remained unaware of their destination or purpose until the comedian disclosed they had arrived in Minnesota for Sir Paul McCartney’s performance at U.S. Bank Stadium later that night.

Davidson further organized a backstage encounter for the couple, who publicly acknowledged their relationship earlier this year, with the 83-year-old music icon prior to the concert.
“That truly felt like a precious item off my bucket list,” Hewitt enthused in a subsequent update. “[Paul] is essentially the only individual I’ve consistently wished to encounter. Don’t I have the most caring, most considerate [partner] imaginable?”
Davidson and Hewitt revealed in July that they are anticipating a new addition to their family.
“Well, now the secret’s out that we got intimate,” Hewitt quipped on Instagram then, accompanying the remark with several maternity snapshots.
Towards the end of that month, an insider revealed exclusively to Us Weekly that the pair were overjoyed at the prospect of welcoming their baby.
“Pete and Elsie certainly hadn't intended to begin a family at this time, but they are incredibly happy about it. Their excitement is immense,” the source shared with Us. “Pete and Elsie share a very lighthearted connection, and their relationship is flourishing.”

The source indicated that Hewitt’s pregnancy has “strengthened their bond” as a couple.
“Pete has consistently desired to be a father and believes this stage in his life is ideal. He wouldn't have been able to manage it a few years back, but his life circumstances are vastly different today,” the insider further explained. “He's enjoyed a successful year to date, with two films set for release shortly, another currently being made, and a comeback to stand-up comedy.”
Davidson himself has additionally articulated his reasons for believing it is the opportune moment to embrace parenthood.
“I'm thankful I'm sober and at this point in my life,” he stated on Theo Von’s podcast last month, alluding to his past battles with alcohol and drugs. “I doubt anyone ever feels completely 'ready.' I wouldn't presume to know, but I do wish I had more time in sobriety, as it's only been about a year and a bit. I'm immensely appreciative that this is happening now, and with Elsie.”
Davidson elaborated that, prior to achieving sobriety, he felt a compulsion “to have children and tie the knot.”
“That was my aspiration,” he commented. “My upbringing was such that all my aunts and uncles married at 21, having known each other since elementary school, and had three children by 26. … However, I was entirely unprepared [at that age]. I still haven't fully discovered myself, yet I'm making progress.”
Davidson had paused his dating life — including his relationships with various prominent celebrities — to concentrate on achieving sobriety. Once he was clean, Davidson established a “sound partnership” with Hewitt.
