Playboy Model Questions Airline Dress Code After Being Asked to Fasten Shirt
Sara Blake Cheek, a former Playboy model, is questioning airline attire policies following a recent flight experience.
“A flight attendant from @AmericanAir instructed me to fasten my shirt before boarding my flight,” Cheek claimed on X on Sunday, August 31. “I didn’t realize American Airlines enforced a dress code prohibiting athletic wear for those with a larger bust.”
The host of the sports talk show subsequently shared a full-body selfie taken in an airport restroom, displaying her complete ensemble for her Labor Day weekend journey.
“This is the attire @AmericanAir’s flight attendant insisted I adjust before boarding,” she posted on X on Sunday, posing in a black bandeau top beneath a yellow flannel shirt.

Cheek’s outfit was finished with jeggings, tall socks, and athletic shoes.
“At last, departing Atlanta after a cancelled flight this morning, two reschedules, and then a delay,” she shared on X. “Now the flight attendant instructs me to button my shirt, yet not other women dressed identically but in different colors. @AmericanAir, I’m glad I hold platinum status.”
Us Weekly contacted American Airlines for a statement. American Airlines replied to one of Cheek’s posts on X, requesting her contact details to investigate the issue further.
“We uphold a strong culture of respect for both our clientele and our staff, and we apologize for any service that falls short of being consistent and cordial,” American Airlines stated on X. “We are relaying this incident to our internal crew leadership, and we would appreciate our specialist examining it more closely if possible. Despite her travel difficulties, Cheek managed to enjoy the opening weekend of college football.
