Pratt and Faris Share Heartwarming Thanksgiving Reunion with Son Jack

Chris Pratt and his former wife, Anna Faris, shared a heartwarming get-together over the Thanksgiving holiday.

On Thursday, November 27, Pratt, 46, and Faris, 48, were seen together. Faris, the actress, brought their 13-year-old son, Jack, to meet his father at a charity event where they were assisting in feeding unhoused individuals.

The former couple, who ended their eight-year marriage in 2017, embraced and exchanged friendly words during their short encounter.

Faris dressed informally in a black sweater and coordinating trousers. Pratt chose a white T-shirt, denim jeans, and a black baseball cap.

Following the finalization of their divorce in 2018, Pratt began a new relationship with Katherine Schwarzenegger, marrying her the subsequent year. Together, they are parents to daughters Lyla, aged 5, and Eloise, aged 3, as well as their 12-month-old son, Ford.

Meanwhile, Faris married cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021. She has also taken on the role of stepmother to Barrett’s two children from a prior marriage.

That Thursday, Pratt posted several photos from the current year on his social media accounts.

The Marvel actor used the caption “Thankful” for an Instagram photo gallery.

Ever since their separation, Faris and Pratt have prioritized fostering a robust co-parenting relationship for their son.

“For a long time, we gave it our all, and we are truly disheartened,” the duo expressed in a shared announcement following their split. “Our son is blessed with two parents who adore him, and for his well-being, we intend to maintain as much privacy as possible going forward. We continue to hold affection for each other and will forever treasure the moments we shared.”

Faris subsequently elaborated that she and Pratt prioritize their efforts to communicate openly, ensuring they can successfully co-parent Jack.

In a 2018 interview with Women’s Health, she stated, “Chris and I make an effort to maintain open communication.” She added, “We constantly remind ourselves that there are no set rules for this. We share a deep bond of love and friendship, and our primary objective is to safeguard Jack. I value my family, my close circle of friends, and my son — these things make everything else worthwhile.”

When Pratt chose to propose to Schwarzenegger in 2019, Faris expressed her delight at her becoming a part of their family.

During a 2019 installment of her podcast, “Anna Faris Is Unqualified,” Faris clarified, “I wholeheartedly believe in the concept of expanding family and love with Jack.” She also added, “[Katherine is] wonderful.”

Come November 2022, Faris again enthusiastically praised Schwarzenegger for being an “amazing” stepmother to Jack.

“She truly excels at it. I admire her interactions with Jack,” Faris conveyed to People, further mentioning her appreciation that the entire family was “growing significantly closer.”

Prior to this year, Pratt and Faris came together for Jack’s sixth-grade graduation ceremony. According to Page Six, the pair embraced during the event.

That August, Pratt commemorated Jack’s birthday, pondering his son’s significant life event.

At that time, the Terminal List actor posted on Instagram, “I have a teenager???” He continued, “Jack, it’s hard to believe you’re 13 today. I’ve witnessed you develop into an astonishing young man, and I am genuinely proud of the individual you are evolving into.”
