Putman Family Members Noah and Gia Show Signs of Recovery After Tragic Crash
Noah and Gia, members of the Meet the Putmans family, are continuing to heal from injuries suffered in the tragic car crash involving their relatives.
“We wished to provide an update on Noah and Gia and request your ongoing prayers for them,” a post on the family’s Instagram profile stated on Sunday, September 28. “Noah remains under sedation, yet we are immensely thankful to observe his responsive movements. Each minor indication reassures us that divine intervention is occurring and our pleas are being heard.”
Meanwhile, Gia had a craniotomy performed on Saturday, September 27.
“We are pleased to announce that her medical team delivered positive news: her intracranial pressure has considerably decreased,” the family’s communication highlighted. “This serves as a potent reminder that a higher power is watching over her, directing her recovery journey continuously.”

Noah and Gia recently experienced a deadly vehicle collision, which claimed the lives of their grandparents, Bill and Barb Putman, and Noah’s mother, Megan Putman.
“Throughout these trials, we steadfastly cling to our beliefs, confident that a divine scheme and intention exist for all things,” the Sunday announcement concluded. “Even during the most challenging times, the divine presence is here, operating in manners we might not yet grasp. We appreciate all your ongoing prayers, affection, and assistance. Your fortitude and conviction are palpable around us.”
The Putman family additionally requested that supporters “continue to uplift Noah and Gia in their recovery process.”
A spokesperson for the previous TLC personalities had confirmed earlier on Saturday that Barb, Bill, and Megan perished in a “devastating automobile collision.” Bill and Barb were parents to sons Billy, Brandon, and Blake, alongside their daughter Blair.

Blake, Megan’s husband of 18 years before her untimely passing, also received hospital care after the incident. Besides Noah, the pair also had daughters Lulu and Alena, who both suffered injuries in the collision.
Gia, separately, is among the five daughters of Brandon and his spouse, Kacie Putman.
The Putman family featured in TLC’s Meet the Putmans in 2017, a program that documented their everyday existence as a large, multi-generational household of 25 residing together. The reality series ran for merely six installments before being resurrected on YouTube in 2021 under the title Growing Up Putman.
