Just a few days before a tragic car crash claimed the lives of multiple family members, Barb Putman had affectionately described her husband, Bill Putman, as a “blessing.”
A statement posted on Saturday, September 27, on the family's official @GrowingUpPutmans Instagram profile conveyed, “It is with profound sadness that I reach out, requesting your prayers. Our loved ones were involved in a devastating car accident, resulting in the passing of Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan,” identifying the deceased as grandparents Bill and Barb, and their daughter-in-law. The message concluded, “They have ascended to their heavenly abode.”
According to the same announcement, Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, and Gia from the family were still receiving medical care in the hospital when the update was released.
The Saturday communication further stated, “Every member of my family … has affirmed Jesus Christ as our ultimate Lord and Redeemer.” It added, “He embodies our source of hope, serenity, and deliverance. Despite this period of immense grief, we find solace in the conviction that God's will prevails.”
Merely days preceding the automobile collision, specifically on Tuesday, September 23, Barb had posted a heartfelt birthday greeting for her husband on the family's official Growing Up Putman Instagram page.
