Willie Norwood
Willie, Ray J's father, holds roles as a vocalist, coach, and educator.
According to information from Kovocals, Willie became a member of the vocal ensemble The Composers during the 1970s.
Following their performance as an opening act for Chaka Khan & Rufus, the group chose to relocate to Hollywood, where Willie resided with his family until he and his wife Sonja opted to return to Mississippi.
Willie later brought his family back to California to take on the role of a music minister and establish himself as a music instructor.
