Reba McEntire and Rex Linn's Love Story: A 30-Year Journey to Romance

Country music legend Reba McEntire and actor Rex Linn initially met three decades before their romance officially began.

McEntire encountered the performer during the filming of the 1991 production, The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw, but a romantic connection didn't materialize until January 2020.

“We maintained communication throughout the years, and as we share mutual acquaintances, it felt like good friends reconnecting for dinner that January,” she shared during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in November 2020. “Following that, we began exchanging messages and speaking on the phone, developing a deeper understanding of each other during the quarantine period.”

The acclaimed vocalist was previously wed to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987, and subsequently to music manager Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015. She is mother to son Shelby, born in 1990, with Blackstock.
