Remembering the Influencers We Lost in 2025
The digital world is paying tribute to the memories of several social media personalities who passed away in 2025.
On April 1, a nursing influencer, Hailey Okula, died at the age of 33 following the birth of her first child. Her husband, Matthew Okula, revealed that his wife succumbed to an amniotic fluid embolism and had a brief opportunity to hold their baby before her passing.
The subsequent month, the Chandler, Arizona, Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that content creator Emilie Kiser’s 3-year-old son, Trigg Kiser, died after he was discovered unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool.
On July 23, Rodeo Queen influencer Camila Trevisol died at age 22 after a prolonged struggle with a rare form of bone cancer. Filipino TikTok star Emman Atienza also died in October at age 19. The following month, the death of travel influencer Anunay Sood was announced by his “loved ones.”
The online community also expressed grief for Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper and Karen Sofia Quiroz Ramirez, both of whom died in November. The month after that, Riziki Ilenre died at age 27, and YouTube personality Adam the Woo died at age 51.
