Remembering the Stars We Lost: A 2025 Farewell
The entertainment world has been marked by the passing of several iconic figures throughout 2025.
During the summer months, we said farewell to culinary personality Anne Burrell, music legend Ozzy Osbourne, wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner and music manager Brandon Blackstock.
Jane Goodall, the renowned primatologist, Diane Keaton, the beloved actress, musician D’Angelo, football player Marshawn Kneeland, and others, succumbed to illness in October and November.
December brought the loss of former So You Think You Can Dance performer Donyelle Jones, filmmaker Rob Reiner and his spouse, Michele Reiner, racing driver Greg Biffle and reality television personality Mickey Lee.
The closing days of 2025 witnessed the death of Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of John F. Kennedy, following a courageous battle with cancer, alongside The Wire actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. and celebrated gospel artist Richard Smallwood .
