Her passing was confirmed by her management team on Wednesday, October 22, through an official statement released on Facebook.
“It is with profound sadness and immense heartbreak that we inform you of Isabelle Tate’s passing on October 19th. She was 23,” the Facebook announcement stated. “Having known Izzy since her teenage years, she had recently recommitted to her acting career. She successfully secured a role in the very first series she tried out for, 9-1-1 Nashville, an experience she thoroughly enjoyed.”

Tate harbored ambitions of establishing a distinguished acting profession, and her minor appearance in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville served as her initial foray onto television screens.
In the initial part of this month, Tate was featured in the inaugural episode of 9-1-1: Nashville.
Within the episode, Tate took on the role of a guest at a bachelorette celebration, where she was entertained by Blue, a character portrayed by Hunter McVey, who transitions from a stripper to a firefighter.
Her obituary indicated that this particular role was the very first television series the actress had auditioned for.
A rare neurological condition was identified as Isabelle Tate's cause of death
Her agency disclosed that Tate succumbed to a rare neurological ailment known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
“Isabelle ‘Izzy’ Tate suffered from a rare type of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease,” The McCray Agency posted via its Instagram Story on Thursday, October 23. “She died serenely on October 19th. Her family kindly asks for privacy during this abrupt and tragic bereavement.”
The Mayo Clinic defines Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease as “a collection of inherited disorders that result in nerve deterioration.” The Clinic elaborated, noting that “Inherited conditions are transmitted through familial lines.”
They also stated, “This damage primarily affects the nerves in the limbs, known as peripheral nerves. Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is also referred to as hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy.”
This condition results in reduced and weakened muscles, potentially leading to difficulties with ambulation and a diminished sensation in the lower extremities. Additional indications involve elevated arches, toes that curl, frequent stumbling, and an unsteady gait.
Tate publicly addressed her struggle with the illness in an Instagram post published in December 2022.
She penned, “At the age of 13, I received a diagnosis of a progressive neuromuscular disease that progressively weakens the muscles in my legs.” She continued, “Upon initial diagnosis, I struggled to fully comprehend its nature or what it might entail. As the years passed, I continued with my life, observing subtle changes as various tasks became increasingly challenging.”
Isabelle Tate pursued business studies at Middle Tennessee State University
Beyond her acting endeavors, Tate also acquired additional qualifications at a university level.
Her obituary disclosed that the actress held a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, earned from Middle Tennessee State University.
The obituary further stated that Tate “aspired to make a difference in the world.”

Tate is survived by numerous cherished individuals. Those mourning her poignant absence include her family, specifically her mother Katerina Kazakos Tate, stepfather Vishnu Jayamohan, father John Daniel Tate, and sister Daniella Tate.
Her mother and sister received explicit mention in the obituary disseminated by Tate’s representatives to confirm her passing.
The obituary stated, “However, what she cherished most was dedicating time to family and friends, consistently being the heart of any gathering. Her sister was her closest confidante, and her mother served as her guiding light.”

Throughout her abbreviated life, Isabelle consistently sought opportunities to contribute and, as per her obituary, was known for dedicating her free hours to volunteer efforts.
Her obituary noted, “Isabelle had a passion for volunteering in all capacities, especially involving animals — for her, an enjoyable excursion meant a trip to an animal shelter to lavish affection.” It added, “Isabelle possessed immense spirit, a true battler, never once offering apologies or justifications for any perceived disability compared to others.”
