Riverdale Stars Real Life Romance Rewrites the Script
Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Vanessa Morgan are among the Riverdale stars whose offscreen relationships have captured public attention throughout the years.
Reinhart and Sprouse captivated audiences portraying the beloved couple Betty and Jughead on the CW drama, which debuted in January 2017. Consequently, fans rejoiced upon learning that the duo shared an actual romance when news of their connection first emerged in July 2017.
Following an intermittent three-year relationship, the fellow actors ended their romance in 2020. Nevertheless, Sprouse and Reinhart were not the sole Riverdale cast members to form a romantic bond outside of the show. Mendes, for instance, was also involved with Charles Melton between 2018 and 2019.
With the series' growing popularity, several performers from the cast progressed to establish families. Morgan became a mother to son River with Michael Kopech in January 2021, whereas KJ Apa and his partner at the time, Clara Berry, celebrated the birth of their son Sasha in September 2021.
