Rob Reiner and Wife Allegedly Found Stabbed to Death at LA Home
UPDATE — 12/14/25 at 11 p.m. ET Acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, were allegedly discovered deceased at their Los Angeles residence following a fatal stabbing incident.
A report released by TMZ on Sunday, December 14, indicated that law enforcement sources informed the outlet that the two individuals found at the couple's Brentwood home were confirmed to be "the Reiners."
The publication stated that both victims “sustained knife-related injuries” and that the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery Homicide Division continues to probe the matter.
The couple's reported fatalities were also covered by People magazine late on Sunday.

Reportedly, two bodies were discovered inside the West Los Angeles property belonging to Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Reiner.
As per a TMZ report dated Sunday, December 14, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the couple’s residence on Sunday at approximately 3:30 PM PT after receiving a call for “medical assistance.”
The publication detailed that first responders discovered “a man roughly 78 years old, and a woman approximately 68” at the site. The Los Angeles Police Department reportedly arrived at the location 10 minutes subsequent to the Fire Department's arrival.
