Romeo's Year-End Post Sparks Family Rift as Brooklyn Remains Notably Absent
Romeo Beckham omitted his brother Brooklyn Beckham from his year-end summary, amidst the family’s continuing difficulties.
“Thankful for 2025, now looking forward to an even better 2026,” Romeo, 23, posted via Instagram on Thursday, January 1. “Love you all @davidbeckham @victoriabeckham @cruzbeckham @kim_turnbull @harperbeckham.”
Romeo’s slideshow showcased highlights from the past year as he spent time with his loved ones. He included pictures with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and girlfriend Kim Turnbull, as well as siblings Cruz and Harper Beckham.
In one image, Romeo is seen on a boat with Cruz, while a selfie showed him and Harper on a jetski. Romeo also shared photos of him with his mother dancing at what appeared to be a celebration and a close-up picture of his father displaying his knighthood medal from his ceremony last year.
Brooklyn Beckham Receiving ‘Significant’ Support From Peltz Family During Conflict
Brooklyn, 26, was noticeably absent from the post. Romeo’s exclusion follows closely after David, 50, also left Brooklyn out of his 2025 recap.
“I feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced the year I did in 2025, full of moments I will cherish forever, from my 50th to my knighthood (still hard to believe) and then concluding with winning the MLS as an owner,” David wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, December 31. “I’m so appreciative of my wonderful wife, my amazing children, my friends and the team I work with every single day – nothing would have been possible without you all.”
David’s post included a collection of images of memorable moments from 2025, many of which featured Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. That same day, David shared another social media tribute that included all of his children.
“I love you all so much,” David wrote via his Instagram Story alongside a throwback photo of him and Brooklyn.
David also expressed that he felt “so lucky” and “so grateful” for his family.
“You are my everything,” David captioned a throwback picture of Victoria cuddling with all four children on the sofa. “I love you all. Love, Daddy. On to 2026.”
Victoria reposted David’s tribute to Brooklyn via her own Instagram Story and added a heart symbol.
Brooklyn has seemingly been distanced from his family over the past several months. He and his wife Nicola Peltz skipped several family events last year, including David’s 50th birthday party, his investiture ceremony, Victoria’s documentary premiere and the family’s holiday festivities.
“Brooklyn has no desire to repair things at this time,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2025. “He’s really concentrating on living a peaceful, drama-free life with Nicola. They’ve created their own world together and are very content. They want to allow things to settle naturally rather than attempting to fix something that still feels strained.”
Victoria Beckham Expresses Affection for Son Brooklyn Amidst Family Issues
Amidst the rumors of a family disagreement, Cruz claimed that his older brother blocked him and their parents on social media.
“My mum and dad would never remove themselves as followers of their son,” Cruz wrote via his Instagram Story in December 2025. “Let’s get the facts straight. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
David and Victoria have not addressed the reported family drama. Brooklyn, for his part, commented on it in an interview with the Daily Mail last year.
“Everyone is always going to say untrue things,” Brooklyn told the outlet in May 2025. “I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun.”
