Soap Stars Adrian Anchondo and Colton Little Heat Up Romance for the New Year
Soap opera stars Adrian Anchondo and Colton Little have discovered romance just in time for the new year.
“This Christmas filled my heart with joy,” Anchondo, 42, shared on Instagram Tuesday, December 30, posting a picture of Little, 36, kissing his cheek. “Thank you, Puerto Rico and Florida.”
Anchondo, who portrays Marco Rios on General Hospital, revealed several photos with Little from their recent vacation to Puerto Rico. The pair also celebrated the start of the new year with a passionate kiss.
Anchondo uploaded another image of the couple embracing via his Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 1, as fireworks lit up the night sky.

Little, who plays Andrew Donovan on Days of Our Lives, reposted Anchondo’s New Year’s Eve photo on his own social media page.
“Magic @ Midnight with the sweetest person,” Little wrote on his Instagram Stories.
Anchondo and Little have both been vocal about their sexuality and what it signifies to portray LGBTQIA+ characters on GH and Days.
“I feel incredibly fortunate. I feel deeply grateful for this opportunity,” Anchondo stated on a June 2025 episode of the “Grue Rume Show” podcast. “I adore the character [and] there are so many layers. You’ll see coming soon [that] his story becomes more complex, and the more I’m involved, the more connections I form with other characters. That simply enhances and makes the character more compelling.”
On screen, Anchondo’s Marco is in a relationship with Van Hansis’ character Lucas .
“I think that we, in real life, can sometimes be apprehensive when someone is so exposed,” Anchondo said. “I think Marco sees Lucas, and Marco’s seeking a chance to be vulnerable himself, and then he observes, ‘Wow, I suppose I can be this way, too. I can see this man in front of me who seemingly has everything going for him, but there have been some tragic events in his life.’”
He continued, “I think that [taking a chance is] beautiful. I try to do that with people I encounter regularly. It’s challenging to be vulnerable and so open and honest with every single person you meet.”
Anchondo further explained how he developed a friendship with Hansis, 44, after portraying love interests.
“He’s so wonderful. I mean, I honestly see him beyond the show,” Anchondo said last year. “Our friendship is blossoming and growing, and it’s been truly lovely. He’s almost like a mentor to me now because he is someone [who is] very experienced in soaps. If I’m feeling discouraged or had a difficult day, he normalized a lot of what I’m feeling. It’s just so good to have someone on my side.”
As for Little, his Days character is married to Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), marking the first same-sex wedding in the soap’s history.
“I’m very appreciative … that this show has provided me with consistent work for three years,” Little wrote via Instagram in June 2025. “I’m also thankful, as a gay man, I had the opportunity to depict LOVE in a way that is authentic to my experience.”
He concluded, “Teenage Colton … felt isolated and frightened needed to witness representation like this. I’m PROUD to represent that for someone who might need it today.”
