Sophie Turner's Starstruck Reaction to Chris Martin Amid Romance Rumors
Sophie Turner appeared visibly awestruck by Chris Martin in a recently surfaced video, amid swirling rumors that the two might be romantically involved.
In footage released by the Daily Mail on Sunday, October 26, Turner’s former husband, Joe Jonas, surprised her with a video message from Martin, 48. The clip began with Jonas, 36, presenting a phone to Turner as he explained, “I have someone who wishes to convey birthday greetings.”
Upon seeing the video, Turner covered her face with her hands and exclaimed, “It’s Chris Martin!”
“This is Chris from Coldplay. I wanted to extend wishes on behalf of myself and the even more attractive members of our band,” Martin stated in the video, with Turner interjecting to add, “No.”

“I hope you are enjoying an excellent day,” Martin continued. “I send you all my love and hope you’re having a fantastic time. Thank you for being wonderful, goodbye.”
Just before the video concluded, Martin blew a kiss toward the camera. Turner, for her part, declared she was “not going to cry on camera” as she hid her face in her hands and returned the phone. Turner and Jonas then exchanged a high-five.
The publication had reported on Saturday, October 25, that Turner and Martin had engaged in a “secret date.”

Turner was previously married to Jonas from 2019 until their separation in 2023. The former spouses share a daughter, Willa, born in 2020, and a second daughter, who arrived in July 2022.
