The entertainment world has paid tribute to several iconic figures who passed away throughout 2025.
During the initial six months of the year, we received the somber announcements concerning the departures of director David Lynch, actress Michelle Trachtenberg, boxing legend George Foreman, acclaimed actor Val Kilmer, and Duck Dynasty personality Phil Robertston.
As the summer months unfolded, we bid farewell to culinary personality Anne Burrell, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and talent manager Brandon Blackstock. The month of September marked the passing of venerable actor Robert Redford.
October saw the departure of renowned primatologist Jane Goodall, iconic actress Diane Keaton, Grammy-winning R&B artist D’Angelo, among others. The subsequent month, Marshawn Kneeland, a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, tragically passed at 24 years old, and Oscar-nominated performer Pauline Collins died at 85 following her struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
The commencement of November was marked by the passings of veteran actress Sally Kirkland and former ABC News journalist Jim Avila.
