The initial six months of the year brought sorrowful announcements regarding the passing of David Lynch, Michelle Trachtenberg, George Foreman, Val Kilmer, and the familiar face from Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson.
As the summer months unfolded, we grieved the departures of Anne Burrell, Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and Brandon Blackstock. The month of September marked the passing of veteran actor Robert Redford.
October witnessed the demise of renowned zoologist Jane Goodall, esteemed actress Diane Keaton, and the celebrated Grammy-winning R&B artist D’Angelo, among others. In the subsequent month, Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland tragically passed at 24 years old, and Oscar-nominated actress Pauline Collins, aged 85, succumbed following her struggle with Parkinson's disease.
November commenced with the loss of actress Sally Kirkland and former ABC News correspondent Jim Avila; additionally, actor Spencer Lofranco also passed away that month at 33 years old.
