Stefon Diggs Faces Lawsuit from Ex After Cardi B Pregnancy Reveal
An exclusive report from Us Weekly reveals that Stefon Diggs, who is dating Cardi B, faces a lawsuit from his former partner, Mulan Hernandez, regarding claims of assault.
The publication, Us, acquired the counterclaim submitted by Hernandez, aged 24, against Diggs, aged 31, on April 7 in a Texas court, stemming from a prior assault lawsuit initiated by him against her.
Hernandez, known for her role on Basketball Wives Orlando, asserted in her legal submission that she committed no misconduct and accused Diggs of being the aggressor. She further alleges his attempts to prevent her from speaking out.
She alleged that on June 7, 2024, Diggs struck her in the back of the head with a closed fist. Hernandez contended that “nearly at once” following the supposed incident, Diggs “initiated efforts to pressure [Hernandez] into signing a non-disclosure agreement to conceal Diggs’ harmful and severe action from both the NFL and the public.”
Hernandez stated that Diggs “urgently” dispatched his personal assistant to Houston that June, aiming to secure her signature on the NDA, an agreement that would have forbidden her from discussing the purported event. She acknowledged that her attorney contacted Diggs’ attorney in November 2024 to seek accountability for his conduct. She reported receiving a concussion diagnosis on the same day the assault allegedly occurred.
Through her lawsuit, Hernandez sought unspecified compensation for her physical injuries, emotional distress, and medical expenses. She requested the court grant her between $250,000 and $1 million.
Court records indicate the legal proceedings are ongoing.

Earlier in February, Diggs initiated a lawsuit against his former girlfriend and a third individual, Brianna Mack, citing charges including assault, trespassing, intentional infliction of emotional distress, conspiracy, and other accusations. He alleged that both individuals tried to extort him.
In his legal filing, Diggs clarified that he was involved in a casual romantic relationship with Hernandez at the beginning of 2024. He mentioned frequently permitting Hernandez and her companions to reside at his Houston residence.
Civil Trial Verdict for Cardi B Revealed
He stated that Hernandez had been socializing from the evening of June 6, 2024, into the early hours of June 7, 2024. According to him, around 6 a.m. on June 7, Hernandez came to his apartment and subsequently attacked him and damaged his belongings.
“Hernandez forcefully entered the bathroom and then the gaming room, appearing intoxicated and distressed. [Diggs] instructed Hernandez to depart, but she declined. [Diggs] tried to calm the situation by attempting to distance himself from Jones’ verbal attacks, but she persisted in criticizing him severely,” the lawsuit detailed.
The NFL athlete alleged that his ex-partner threw his video game console onto the floor, seized his valuable wristwatch, priced at $130,000, from the counter, and then smashed it on the ground, causing extensive damage. He further claimed she took his mobile phone and threw it into the toilet.
Diggs asserted that she proceeded to punch him repeatedly in the chest. He claimed that during the event, Hernandez menaced him with a perilous weapon. He stated that any physical interaction with her or her friend was purely in self-defense. Diggs maintained that he did not hit, kick, or assault her in any way.
He contended that Mack was present with Hernandez and observed the assault. He stated that he repeatedly requested the pair to depart, but they declined. He claimed that on the evening of the incident, Hernandez visited a hospital due to nausea and vomiting and received anti-nausea medicine.

He stated that Hernandez denied experiencing any physical mistreatment during her hospital visit. Diggs alleged she reported having slipped on a wet kitchen floor. He claimed she saw another physician on June 14, where she “untruthfully” asserted she had been struck “in the back of the head with a closed fist.”
“Over the subsequent weeks and months, Hernandez and Mack, both “independently and with legal representation, sought to leverage their fabricated narrative to extort millions of dollars from [Diggs].”
Diggs stated his refusal to meet their demands. His attorney commented, “To put it plainly, [Diggs] is pursuing this case because he refuses to be exploited by the defendants’ efforts to extort funds from him. It is the defendants who bear responsibility towards [Diggs], not vice versa.”

Diggs’ lawsuit alleged that Hernandez’s attorney claimed she resided with Diggs and was five weeks pregnant when he supposedly assaulted her. She sought $1 million in compensation. His own legal action requested damages exceeding $250,000 but not surpassing $1 million from Hernandez and Mack.
In a distinct legal document, Mack refuted all accusations of misconduct. The legal matter remains active.
As Us had earlier disclosed, Cardi, 32, revealed her pregnancy with Diggs’ child in September 2025.
