Sutton Stracke Reflects on Home Robbery and Friendship Fallout

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke is moving forward after a robbery occurred at her home while she was in Las Vegas for BravoCon.

Stracke, 54, and fellow cast member Kathy Hilton’s residences were burglarized in November while they were attending the annual convention.

During a Thursday, January 8, appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Stracke was inquired about whether the perpetrators have been apprehended, to which she responded, “No.”

Host Andy Cohen then asked Stracke, “Was a significant amount of property taken?”

“Oh yes, it was upsetting,” the Sutton Concept founder said. “It’s alright. It’s, you know, as we all understand, it’s just possessions.”

She continued, “I mean, some [of it] held considerable sentimental value to me and was very meaningful.”

Stracke said she’s now attempting to recover from the unsettling incident.

“You have to process the emotional impact of it all,” she explained, “and simply know that you will be secure. That’s the most crucial aspect – to ensure my house is safe, to ensure I feel safe. But, yes, it was far from enjoyable.”

Kathy Hilton stated that her husband Rick scared off burglars with a shotgun.

The RHOBH star also expressed gratitude to Bravo fans for supporting her through the difficult time.

“The fans were incredibly supportive during BravoCon,” she said. “No one was aware, and just seeing everyone, it truly lifted my spirits and helped me get through the weekend. It really did.”

Stracke’s home was targeted the weekend of November 14 to 16 while she and her fellow castmates were in Las Vegas for BravoCon 2025.

“On the morning of Saturday, November 15, I was informed by the Los Angeles Police Department that my residence had been targeted by a break-in earlier that day. The individuals involved gained entry through a kitchen window and stole all of my luxury handbags. They also took my fine jewelry,” she said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. “Since then, I have hired a 24-hour armed security team and replaced the existing property surveillance systems. I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation.”

Stracke’s dog walker contacted 911 around 11:54 a.m. local time on November 15, reporting an open window at the star’s home, according to police records obtained by Us. Police responded to the scene and filed a report.

Later on November 15, Hilton’s husband, Rick Hilton, also called 911 to report that three burglars were inside their family home, as reported by TMZ at the time. The suspects had left the scene by the time police arrived. Rick was unharmed, although it’s not clear whether anything was taken from the residence.

During Thursday’s WWHL appearance, Stracke was also questioned about her friendship with former costar Garcelle Beauvais. Beauvais, 59, appeared to end the pair’s close bond after dramatically departing the RHOBH season 14 reunion, which aired last year.

“I have no regrets. I fondly recall my friendship with Garcelle,” Stracke said. “I wish I had a more positive conclusion, a face-to-face one. … She ended it, definitely.”

Stracke previously shared details about the conclusion of her friendship with Beauvais exclusively to Us at BravoCon.

“It was a deep connection. I did host a baby shower for her son,” she told Us. “I did reach out to her. I did send her numerous texts. … I have friendships that span 50 years, so I’ve never experienced a friendship ending like this. It’s unusual for me.”
