Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun's Intimate Dinner Fuels Relationship Rumors
Actress Sydney Sweeney and music mogul Scooter Braun have been seen together once more, fueling speculation that their informal connection is intensifying.
Pictures acquired by Deuxmoi on Thursday, September 25, showed Sweeney, aged 28, and Braun, 44, enjoying an intimate dinner at the popular Italian eatery Jon & Vinny’s in Brentwood on Wednesday, September 24. Braun opted for a relaxed look in a white T-shirt, while Sydney sported a dark top, denim trousers, and over-the-knee boots.

Braun and Sweeney were first observed together during the summer months at the opulent wedding festivities of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy. They were captured on camera strolling through Venice the day prior to the celebrity-filled nuptials. Us received exclusive information this month indicating that Sweeney is “currently not dating anyone exclusively but is enjoying her time with Scooter.”
“Their connection isn't serious,” a source informed Us. “[Sweeney] is exploring different relationships and embracing her single phase without any expectations.”
The insider also mentioned that Braun is “quite smitten with” Sweeney and “has been making an effort to meet up with her amidst her busy professional schedule.”
This informal relationship marks Braun’s most publicized romantic involvement since his divorce from his former spouse, Yael Cohen, was finalized in 2022. Braun and the health advocate were wed for seven years and are parents to three children: Jagger, aged 9; Levi, 7; and Hart, 5.
Braun recently disclosed on Steven Bartlett‘s “Diary of a CEO” podcast the extent of his mental health challenges during the dissolution of his marriage.
“For about 20 minutes, I experienced a suicidal thought, pondering, ‘If my marriage collapses, I won't be with my children constantly. I can't manage this. I won't embody the flawless persona I’ve projected to the public. And if I cannot maintain this perfect image, I don't wish to exist,'” he recalled in June. “My thoughts spiraled into a profoundly grim state.”
Braun explained that he swiftly realized his thoughts were distorted and subsequently sought professional support for his psychological well-being.
“That isn't characteristic of me. I would never abandon my children. I don't wish to leave anyone. What exactly was that experience? The following morning, a friend contacted me, and I recounted the events of the previous night. He then called me back with an additional friend, and they advised, ‘You must attend Hoffman [Institute Foundation],'” Braun recounted. “They informed me that due to a cancellation, I could enroll within two weeks.”

The past few years have brought significant shifts for the erstwhile manager of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, notably his declaration in June 2024 that he was stepping down from music management altogether. (Braun, however, continued in his role as CEO of the entertainment firm Hybe America.)

I frequently question my presence here, in disbelief. And following 23 years, my tenure as a music manager concludes.”
Concurrently, Us reported exclusively in March that Sweeney had terminated her seven-year engagement to her former fiancé, Jonathan Davino, with an insider disclosing: “Sydney and Jonathan have officially parted ways … [She is] informing her acquaintances that she is unattached.”
Sweeney and Davino shared both a professional and personal partnership, having co-produced the actress’ 2024 horror hit, Immaculate.
