Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin Find New Joy and Fresh Start in Florida
Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin are deeply satisfied with their Florida residence.
“This is the best period of my life; I sense it has revitalized our family dynamic,” Flavin, 57, stated during a Fox News interview on Monday, December 8, where she and Stallone, 79, were present at the 48th Kennedy Center Honors. “Because all my relatives relocated to the East Coast, we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves.”
Flavin also expressed gratitude for forming new relationships in their new environment.
“We have found new companions, new experiences, and truly wonderful individuals. I have made remarkable friends whom I hadn't encountered during my time in Los Angeles,” she elaborated. “Sly and I are truly cherishing our moments there.”
Why Sylvester Stallone Is Glad He Moved From Hollywood to Florida
When queried by the publication regarding his opinion of life in the Sunshine State, the Rocky star humorously responded that it involved “significantly more sweat.”
Approximately two years ago, Stallone and Flavin relocated from Los Angeles to Palm Beach. The couple announced this decision to their family during an episode of the second season of their reality show, The Family Stallone. (Stallone and Flavin have three daughters: Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23. The Oscar-nominated actor also has a son, Seargeoh, 46, from his previous marriage to Sasha Czack. The former couple's first son, Sage, passed away in 2012 at age 36.)
“Following extensive deliberation, your mother and I have reached the decision that it is time to move forward and permanently depart California,” Stallone revealed to his daughters during a family meal; all three daughters had already left the West Coast family home. “We are relocating to Florida.”
In the subsequent year, Flavin and Stallone gave an exclusive interview to Us Weekly explaining why the relocation was “absolutely” the correct decision for their family unit.
“I believe this was the optimal choice for Sly and myself since all our daughters currently reside on the East Coast, and we desire proximity to them, while acknowledging their need for space,” Flavin shared with Us in February 2024. “It’s also positive because we sold the residence where they were raised, which represented a significant transition. However, I enjoy this fresh start; I embrace new experiences.”
Stallone, for his contribution, expressed corresponding opinions.

“When the children move out, the residence loses its familiar feel. The atmosphere changes dramatically,” he elaborated. “It prompts you to consider, ‘Why don't we do something solely for ourselves? Why don't we embark on something adventurous that can ignite new experiences and push boundaries?’ After a certain point, life becomes repetitive. You frequent the same establishments, see the same acquaintances, and I realized, ‘I want to experience anticipation when going somewhere.’ That's precisely what transpired.”
Earlier in the year, Stallone provided an update on how he and Flavin were adapting to their new circumstances.
“To start, the air quality consistently feels pure. We live very close to the ocean, which brings my wife immense joy. It also brings me happiness, and there's just something about the surroundings. The scenery is incredibly abundant,” he informed Fox News in September. “I attended university there for a few years, so I am not unfamiliar with the setting, but it aligns significantly better with my temperament.”
