Tara Reid Alleges Drug Incapacitation and Hospitalization After Chicago Area Visit

Tara Reid has lodged a formal complaint with law enforcement, alleging she was incapacitated by drugs and later admitted to a hospital during a visit to the Chicago region.

“The hotel lobby was filled with individuals identified as YouTubers. They were actively filming, and the situation struck me as unsettling, though I couldn't discern the specific events unfolding,” Reid stated in the official report she submitted electronically to the Rosemont Police Department on Tuesday, November 25, a document later acquired by Us Weekly.

The performer was a guest at the Doubletree Hotel, located just beyond the city limits, attending a weekend celebrity autograph event, when, according to her account, she “proceeded to the bar and requested a serving of white wine.”

Reid asserted she was approached by an individual identified as Sean P., who presented himself as a “highly successful influencer and YouTuber” and was part of the collective of digital content producers. She further alleged this man accompanied her at the bar and subsequently when she opted to step outside for a cigarette.

“We stepped out for a cigarette, exchanged contact information, and upon our return, I noticed a napkin covering my beverage,” she elaborated. “Following that, my final recollection is consuming that drink and observing a pair of individuals seated beside us.”

Reid recounted that her “next conscious memory” was “regaining awareness in a hospital approximately eight hours afterward” and being “unaware” of her location or the events that transpired.

“I experienced a total memory lapse, with no recall of any events,” she documented in the police report. “I have no memory of departing the hotel. I don’t recall being transported by ambulance or any related occurrences.”

Reid disclosed that her representative located the medical facility where she had been taken and collected her. Hospital personnel reportedly indicated that she was “cleared for discharge.” Reid and her agent proceeded back to the hotel to retrieve the performer’s belongings and finalize their departure before traveling back to Los Angeles.

Upon Reid's arrival back in Los Angeles, she began investigating the procedure for filing a police report. While engaged in this, Reid asserted she received a text message from Sean P., whom she alleged had transmitted videos of the event to her.

“Sean P., the individual I shared a cigarette with, messaged me the videos of myself the following day,” she contended. “I believed he was attempting to blackmail me by claiming he could prevent the videos from circulating, and he also informed me that I had summoned security on him, further confirming I had consumed only a single drink.

She further stated, “I am prepared to pursue legal action.”

Reid asserted she “did not place a napkin over her glass herself,” according to the source.
