Taylor Swift Spreads Holiday Cheer with $1 Million Donation to Feeding America
Taylor Swift is once again spreading holiday cheer — just in time for the festive season!
The 36-year-old musician has donated $1 million to Feeding America to conclude the year on a positive note, according to the charitable organization.
“We are deeply appreciative of Taylor Swift’s $1 million contribution to Feeding America,” Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot stated in a press release on Tuesday, December 23. “During this holiday period, her ongoing support serves as a potent reminder of what’s achievable when we unite to combat hunger. When we stand alongside individuals experiencing food insecurity, we can ensure families have nourishing meals this holiday season and beyond.”
Swift’s donation will aid Feeding America’s efforts to replenish food banks and pantries across the nation and eliminate hunger throughout the U.S.

According to the nonprofit, over 47 million people, including 14 million children, are struggling with hunger in America despite it being the wealthiest nation in the world.
As fans of Swift are well aware, Feeding America is among the numerous charities she has supported with donations over the years.
Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024, the Grammy winner donated $5 million to Feeding America in the hope of assisting the communities devastated by the storms.

“We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous $5 million donation to Hurricanes Helene and Milton relief efforts,” Feeding America wrote via an Instagram statement that October. “This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover, providing essential food, clean water and supplies to those affected by these devastating storms.”
Earlier that year while on the European leg of her Eras Tour, Swift provided assistance to local food banks by making monetary gifts as well.
Swift reportedly made the largest individual donation in history to Cardiff Foodbank in Cardiff, Wales, where she performed in June 2024.
“This will provide enough food to feed 1,200 people three meals a day, for three days — or 10,800 meals. This represents 2.5 weeks of our typical distribution,” the charity’s chief executive, Rachel Biggs, told The Guardian at the time.
That same month, Swift performed three shows in Liverpool, England, where she donated to St Andrew’s Community Network.
The “Exile” singer concluded 2024 with another substantial donation, this time to Kansas City’s Operation Breakthrough in the amount of $250,000. (Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.)
Swift’s philanthropic endeavors extend beyond nonprofits. Earlier this year, the “Life of a Showgirl” singer provided $100,000 to a 2-year-old girl named Lilah, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer at just 18 months old.

After Lilah’s mother shared her daughter’s health journey via social media — and revealed she introduced her daughter to Swift’s music during her pregnancy — Swift donated to her GoFundMe page in October.
“Sending the biggest hug to my friend, Lilah!” Swift wrote via the GoFundMe page. “Love, Taylor.”
Lilah’s mother, Katelynn, responded to the kind gesture by sharing a video of herself dancing to Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”
“Is this real life? Thank you so much @taylorswift,” the Instagram caption read. “I am in shock. This means so much to us. I can’t express in words how incredibly grateful we are. Tyler and I can just focus on our baby girl and being together as a family. I can’t stop crying. You have given us such a beautiful gift. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
