The year 2025 marked a period of significant mourning within the entertainment industry, which bid farewell to several iconic figures.
The summer months saw the passing of notable individuals including Anne Burrell, Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and Brandon Blackstock.
October and November brought further losses, with figures such as Jane Goodall, Diane Keaton, D’Angelo, and Marshawn Kneeland among those who died during this time.
As the year closed, December included the passing of former So You Think You Can Dance contestant Donyelle Jones, Netflix's Country Ever After personality Criscilla Anderson, and Grammy-nominated opera vocalist Jubilant Sykes. The month also marked the passing of voice actor Jeff Garcia, recognized for portraying Sheen Estevez in Jimmy Neutron; Pulp Fiction actor Peter Greene; director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner; and General Hospital alum Anthony Geary.
Additionally, country singer-songwriter Joe Ely passed away at 78 in December following several health complications.
