The Online Community Mourns Influencers Lost in 2025
The online community is paying tribute to a group of social media personalities who passed away throughout 2025.
On April 1, nursing content creator Hailey Okula passed away at 33 following the delivery of her first baby. Her husband, Matthew Okula, explained that his wife succumbed to an amniotic fluid embolism but had a chance to meet their newborn briefly before passing.
In May, the Chandler, Arizona, Police Department verified to Us Weekly that the 3-year-old son of content creator Emilie Kiser, Trigg Kiser, passed away after being discovered unresponsive in the family’s swimming pool.
On July 23, Rodeo Queen influencer Camila Trevisol passed away at 22 following a struggle with a rare bone cancer diagnosis. Filipino TikTok creator Emman Atienza also passed away in October at the age of 19. The following month, the passing of travel influencer Anunay Sood was shared publicly by his “family and friends.”
The online community also paid respects to Austrian beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper and Karen Sofia Quiroz Ramirez, both of whom passed away in November. In December, Alessandro Antonicelli passed away after a two-year battle with cancer.
