Thomas St. John Denies Calvin Harris's $22 Million Embezzlement Claims

The financial management company favored by numerous public figures, Thomas St. John, has countered allegations made by DJ Calvin Harris that it embezzled $22 million of his funds, as exclusively revealed by Us Weekly.
Speaking to Us, a representative for Thomas St. John stated, “Given that private arbitration details were intentionally released to the media, we find ourselves compelled to address these claims transparently with the facts. This deliberate and deceptive release of privileged information was an obvious effort to undermine Thomas St. John’s standing.”
The spokesperson further asserted, “The evidence is clear: no money has been illicitly diverted, all investor benefits are secure, and the development is progressing according to its standard approval schedule.”
According to the representative, the “pivotal project” central to the legal dispute involving Harris and Thomas St. John is projected to “reach nearly a $1 billion valuation” and is set to provide “significant advantages for both the Hollywood sector and its financial backers.”
Situated at the intersection of Sunset and Highland, the complex will introduce “over 700 living accommodations” alongside “expansive areas dedicated to open-air, artistic, and retail purposes.”
The representative acknowledged that the “undertaking has inherently required more time than initially forecast because of unusually high interest rates, broader economic challenges, and considerable municipal bureaucracy.” Nevertheless, they confirmed the project is still “strictly adhering to its committed timeline.”
Harris, aged 41, is described as “one of nine individuals who consciously entered into investment contracts and, in recorded communications, requested to amplify his involvement past his initial pledge by doubling it. Any assertion otherwise is unequivocally untrue,” stated the spokesperson, who added that the firm intends to continue taking "all requisite actions to clarify the situation and guarantee that these hostile, ill-intentioned accusations are exposed as being: completely unfounded.”
According to legal filings submitted on September 12, the musician behind “Feels” alleged that his previous financial consultants at the firm Thomas St. John embezzled $22 million. The company had managed Harris’s finances for over a decade.
The DJ asserted that Thomas St. John directed him to invest in a venture known as CMNTY Culture Campus, conceived as a sprawling 460,000 square foot complex featuring recording facilities, artist relaxation areas, and commercial offices.

Development on the project commenced in 2020. The DJ contended that the endeavor required additional capital in 2023, at which point the firm purportedly brought him into the investment.
He stated he was instructed to sign documents without being fully apprised of the project’s specifics. In the legal filing, initially covered by Variety, Harris asserted he contributed a $10 million loan and an extra $12.5 million in ownership stakes.

According to the court papers, Harris alleged he is unaware of the funds’ whereabouts. His legal representatives contended the initiative "has proven to be, at best, an utter mismanagement, and, at worst, an outright deception.”
As Us earlier reported, Harris dismissed speculation of a dispute with Miley Cyrus back in August. Harris and Cyrus had recorded a track titled Ocean which was never put out. The DJ recently hinted at the song’s release, but featuring a different vocalist, Jessie Reyez. When queried by followers on social media about the status of the song with Cyrus, he responded, "I dunno" while refuting any animosity.
