Tommy Lee Jones' Daughter, Former Actress Victoria Jones, Dies at 34
Tommy Lee Jones’ late daughter, Victoria Jones, experienced several legal issues prior to her passing in January 2026.
Following a career that began as a child actress and continued as a teen star, Victoria decided to leave Hollywood in 2014. A decade later, she faced arrest twice, dealing with charges including “hindering a law enforcement official” and “being impaired by a controlled substance,” among others. (A court session was scheduled for late January 2026.)
On New Year’s Day in 2026, Victoria was discovered unresponsive at a hotel in San Francisco after a call to the San Francisco Fire Department reported a “medical emergency.” She was confirmed deceased at the location at the age of 34.

September 1991
Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimerlea Cloughley, welcomed their first child, son Austin Jones, in November 1982. They expanded their family in September 1991 with the birth of daughter Victoria Jones. Tommy Lee and Cloughley divorced in 1996 after fifteen years of marriage.
Early 2000s
Victoria made her debut as an actress in 2002’s Men in Black II alongside her father. She portrayed “Neuralyzed Daughter” while Tommy Lee played one of the two leading roles, Kay. (Will Smith was his co-star, playing Jay.)
In 2005, Victoria appeared in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada and Sorry, Haters, as well as an episode of One Tree Hill.
2006
After collaborating on The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, Tommy Lee described his daughter as “a talented actress” who “speaks fluent Spanish.”
While Tommy Lee was impressed with Victoria’s portrayal of a young Mexican girl, he admitted to The New Yorker that she didn’t always demonstrate the best work ethic as a teenager.
“She had to wake up at 5 a.m. for her part,” he recalled in 2006. “One morning, she refused to get out of bed. I said, ‘Honey, this is work.’ But she wouldn’t move. So I dismissed her. Then, without telling me, the production staff went over and woke her and hurried her to the set just in time.”

Despite Victoria’s brief dismissal, Tommy Lee fondly remembered the film, which also included his third wife, Dawn Laurel-Jones, who worked as the stills photographer.
“We’ve developed a world-class polo field and a practice field there, so my team and the kids’ teams can play,” Tommy Lee added about the set. “My daughter has been playing polo since she was six, and now she’s completely fearless. She sometimes participates in six chukkers.”
June 2011
Victoria’s legal troubles began in June 2011 when she was arrested for theft in San Antonio, Texas. According to Page Six, she was accused of stealing between $50 and $500, but the charge was subsequently dropped.
May 2014
Victoria ended her acting career after her role in 2014’s The Homesman, directed by Tommy Lee. Her father also penned the film and was one of the actors alongside Hilary Swank. The father-daughter pair attended the Cannes Film Festival that May to support the movie’s release before it reached theaters in the U.S. in November 2014.
October 2017
Victoria appeared to show her support for her father in October 2017 at the opening ceremony of the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival in Japan. It was the last time she was photographed on a red carpet with Tommy Lee, who served as the president of the jury that year.
April 2025
Victoria was arrested twice in 2025; the first instance occurred on April 28 in Napa County, California. At that time, she was taken into custody and charged with three misdemeanor offenses: obstructing a law enforcement officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription.
The former actress entered a plea of not guilty, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. A hearing was scheduled for January 20, 2026.
June 2025
Victoria was arrested again in Napa County in June and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. She posted bail on June 13, according to documents obtained by Us, and pleaded not guilty in July 2025. A hearing was scheduled for January 20, 2026, according to the filing, which appears to have combined both of Victoria’s 2025 arrests.
