Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter, Victoria Jones, was reportedly discovered deceased following alerts to authorities regarding a potential overdose.

Local San Francisco police officers received an urgent call for a “code 3 for an overdose, with a change in condition,” according to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ.

The outlet reported that, upon arrival, paramedics declared Victoria dead at the scene at the luxurious Fairmont San Francisco hotel on Thursday, January 1. She was 34 years old.

Us Weekly also confirmed that the local fire department responded to “a report of a medical situation” at the hotel around 2:52 a.m., without identifying Victoria.

“Upon their arrival, paramedics from the fire department conducted an assessment. The individual was pronounced deceased,” a statement shared with Us read. “SFPD and the medical examiner’s office were notified and dispatched to the scene. The scene was then turned over to SFPD and the SF Medical Examiners.”

The SF Chief Medical Examiner’s Office subsequently confirmed Victoria’s identity, informing Us, “Her closest legal relative has been notified. The OCME has no further information to release or comment on at this time.”

Victoria is survived by her parents, Tommy, 79, and former wife Kimberlea Cloughley, and older brother Austin Jones. Us reached out to the Academy Award-winning actor for a statement.

Victoria pursued acting as a career, mirroring her father’s path, with appearances in his films Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.

“She’s a talented actress, possesses a Screen Actors Guild card, and speaks fluent Spanish,” Jones told The New Yorker in 2006 regarding his decision to cast Victoria in The Three Burials, which he directed. “When she was a baby, I instructed her nurse to speak to her in Spanish, but I ultimately dismissed her [from the movie].”

Tommy even considered dismissing Victoria, then 14 years old, from her role at one point.

“She was required to wake up at 5 a.m. for her part. One morning, she refused to leave her bed,” Tommy recalled to the outlet. “I said, ‘Honey, this is work.’ But she remained steadfast, so I let her go. However, without my knowledge, the production staff intervened, roused her, and rushed her to the set just in time.”

Following Tommy and Cloughley’s divorce in 1991, he began a relationship with third wife Dawn Laurel-Jones, and they married in 2001.

“I’m not entirely sure what I was thinking,” Tommy jokingly remarked about meeting Laurel-Jones in a 2013 profile with The Independent, a photographer. “She captured numerous photographs during that time, and the Climate Reality group appreciated them so much that they organized an exhibition and auction in London. We were present to view the show and participate in the auction.”

He continued, “She produced some truly beautiful photographs. She sold 17 pieces, which generated over $401,000 to support this organization that we are both involved with.”

Tommy and Laurel-Jones divide their time between a ranch in Texas and a polo facility in Argentina.

“We’ve developed a world-class polo field and a practice field there, so my team and the children’s teams can play,” he told The New Yorker in 2006. “Dawn is also among the finest women polo players in the country, and she had never even ridden a horse ten years prior.”
